RTC says:

I think they got rid of this too… havent seen it in a while..

Tom Vermeulen says:

You sound like a spokesman for the company. I just went there bought a $15 socket set and couldn't use the normal 20% off discount. And for years you've said that joining the ITC was something you shouldn't do, now it sounds like you're pitching it. I will never pay a subscription fee. I will likely be buying tools elsewhere. But thank you for your ever growing affiliate links.

Snap Ring Chronicles says:

The 20% coupon was a good hook for HF. I can’t tell you how many times I went in to get something with the 20% coupon and wound up buying a bunch of other stuff also.

TheSprinterVan says:

It kind of reminded me of when I was a kid ,going through the Montgomery Ward's catalog

TheSprinterVan says:

I got to agree with other people. I missed the catalog cuz it was something to look at. It made me smile when I found it in the mailbox.

Jay Pea says:

Don't mind the changes other than now not having the option to apply 20% to something that's not listed as an instant savings item. Example if I decided I wanted to get a drone today, it's not listed as an instant savings.

jose pena says:

Hello bear, I think the switch to the instant savings is really good I do like the not having to look for the coupon online. The only problem I see is that if they throw a 20% coupon and the item you want is on the instant savings then you won't be able to use it on. And I don't mean to stack the discount. This only applies if you get a better discount % with the 20%. Now if they make that 20% be available all the time then I would just wait for such item to be out of the instant savings. I think that is the major draw, the not being able to choose from either coupon on specific item or the 20%.

Rod Cormier says:

I enjoy ur Stores …. I've bought a few things from Harbour Freight and no completes

Aj Schwab says:

They are grown children

smallish_mk3 says:

was wondering why I haven't gotten any coupons in the mail. I've literally been waiting on it so I could go grab a few things

Uisahoebhaha says:

Got lucky few weeks ago and got a dewalt isolating tool 20v 1bat, bag and charger marked down from 190 to 89. !!! I grabbed the Last one on shelf . Wife sent me for a faucet 😬🤫🤣

tantaluss68 says:

it is amazing how many people think that every single thing from harbor freight is junk

Harold Powers says:

I am glad they stopped having the coupons it has saved me a lot of money on going in and getting something cheap and then buying something else I didn't know I wanted .

Charles Gerlach says:

i used the 30% of 20 saturday, was in the store and one of the workers came up and said if you are a innerclub you get 30% of items up to 20 bucks, stocked up on some sand paper and some other things. will be back today to get more

Jimbo FinJam says:

I can finally cancel half of my wood working magazines.

Greg Benwell says:

Almost every time I take a coupon into HF they tell me "You can't use this coupon here" as if I am trying to buy 12 inch clamps with a Walmart Ketchup Coupon or something!! So in a lot of times my Harbor Freight is so mismanaged ANYHOW I only use them as a "last resort" or to get something I know is "only cheaper" at their store!! It is actually kind of sad that I have learned to "expect the worst" out of my local store……which is why I would most days rather pay $20 to $50 more at Lowe's or Home Depot or even Auto Zone, then shop at my local HF because I know the "nightmare" that my local store has become!!!!

And nobody should "get used to the ideas" of disappointment and failure to the point where a business is best known for being a total "cluster f*ck"…..but that IS what my local Harbor Freight has become!! AND FURTHER I am not the only person I know of that has had this happen to them either!! My step son REFUSES to shop at the same store, traveling 80 miles away to the next nearest Harbor Freight, and I have talked to other people who have reported to me similar experiences with poor customer service, refusal to accept coupons, never having sale items in inventory for large event sales and so on!! Craig's List "Rants and Raves" section lights up in my area when companies screw you over and my local area is no exception!!

Isuzu Axiom says:

STOP>>>STOP…..harbor freight without decent coupons. 30% off of $10….I’ll shop somewhere else. I have forgotten about this place and so should you. Keep publishing about harbor freight and you’ll lose a viewer.

isaac landis says:

I personally love the way harder freight is going..

Ahmad Ghosheh says:

If they don't have to print and mail catalogs and coupons then we get better savings. Yes, I forgot coupons, I had my phone lock up at the check out, and couldn't find the coupon. This is better. Also saves trees

Miah Johnson says:

Cashier gave me issues using that 30% off $20 as a ITC user. :/

Bill Van Raam says:

The coupons are great if you live near a HF for us on line customers not so much.

Bill Mooney says:

Hey Bear, they just had the separate sets (this is basically the SAE set and Metric set combined) for 13 bucks a piece. This was last month or December.

BradBots says:

Coupons have always been better. We are getting the crap coupon price not the lowest price coupon price on MOST things. Hopefully, they rotate some of the items to the lowest, but this is worse for us more savvy shoppers. It's convenient, but I'd rather have the coupons.

marklarmcfizzlestaff says:

yeah…..I'd trade like 45 of the 50ish free work lights I have for 1 or 2 bigger and nonredundant items. Those work lights came in handy last time I lost power for both my family and my friend down the street, but I don't need a legion of them and getting the free one with every purchase became more of a habit than an actual desire to have more of them. A better free item with a minimum value purchase is definitely my preferred way to go where free items are concerned.

BigSchallz70 says:

Inside track member here bought a flip socket set was thinking would get 30% off and didn't looks like going back tomorrow

Also want to ass thank you for calling them out of the 20% coupon honestly without that it's basically the same cost to buy some sockets at other stores that I already have to go to

TheRaven078 says:

it was inevitable this would happen. Rising cost for their products couple with too many old men bleeding the place dry with expired coupons and abusing the free items.

Stef Nicovich says:

I will add one thing, the instant savings approach allows HF to control their inventory better by putting on sale the items that are available. It lessens stockout etc. The coupons were less predictable when it came to managing demand. So I think in these times of constrained supply the instant savings helps from a supply chain perspective

Daisy Fletcher says:

Ok the 20% off coupons have been getting a bit more restrictive Doyle didn't used to be excluded and neither did Central Machinery. I have used coupons on both in the past.

Viking Mike Garage says:

My Hemings Motor Magazine still has a page of printed Harbor Freight coupons every monthly

Kirk Johnson says:

How many of you Harbor Freight fanatics would stop and check out a HF tool truck set up in a parking lot in your town? I've thought about doing it- maybe advertise a 20 percent 'truck tax'. Would anyone buy from me?
