Harbor Freight Tools has DISCONTINUED ALL COUPONS! This video will show you the last coupons remaining that are still valid at Harbor Freight Tools this February 2021. After we are finished crying over the fact that Harbor Freight Tools will have no more coupons ever again, I will discuss my feelings towards Harbor Freight and how this will affect my and others shopping at our beloved Harbor Freight Tools. Mark this in your calendars tradesmen and DIYers, February 2021 will be the end of an era for Harbor Freight Coupons. Harbor Freight Discontinues Coupons and All Catalogs this is the End of an Era. Communication was announced today February 5th 2021 and yes this is real and Harbor Freight is really going to no longer be having Free Item coupons or the 20% or 25% off coupons. This will be the end of Harbor Freight having coupons. For some of you this might be a really big issue as they rely on 20% off coupons or other free items that have been discontinued throughout 2020. Harbor freight first next to the catalogs in 2020 and now in 2021 they will no longer be introducing new coupons other than select random discounts from time to time. They will move more in favor of the inside track club program as well as the new instant discount program.

*UPDATE* At the time of making this video, these were the last remaining coupons. A week later Harbor Freight releases more coupons. They also commented on this video because I got a notification but then they deleted it before I could see what was written. So I think your voices were heard! πŸ‘ Other channels may say this is "click bait" in order to try to self promote themselves 🀣 which I find hilarious because I will continue to bring you my opinion with the best information I have at the time. I've always said HF is unpredictable but I still think you will see the coupons phased out, they will just do it more gradually now that they saw people's reactions. Thanks for watching and the continued support πŸ‘

I don't pay money to join a club so I can get a discount coupon. On its surface that sounds stupid. I've purchased little from Harbor Freight since they stopped the coupons, maybe one or two items that were dirt cheap and never had coupons to begin with. They need to return to the old coupon system. Why on earth would they screw with a good thing?

Dick Hertz says:

No 20% coupon means less beer money for me! Need to start dumpster diving again to compromise!

Kevin 2020 says:

It seems stores are using covid as an excuse to rip people off.

Ed Siler says:

Shopping habits? Clearly they are driving people away w/o attracting new customers.
Few will buy HF items at higher prices. If you're paying hi money, why would you ever buy less than the accepted best brands? Price is key. Buying a $20 Chicago Electric "dispose-a-tool" is one thing, but some of the recent brands are close to the prices af Dewalt, Bosch, etc. At that point, why would you NOT buy the real thing?
The coupons are an essential part of their attraction too. I'd stop in just because I was nearby, usually purchase something with the 20-off coupon & often more than one item. It was fun, kind of a game. Now some of the current coupons are just insulting, so is the push for ITC membership. Like I'm gonna pay for the privilege of paying MORE than everyone did before? Not happening.

And the store was always busy, 2 or more cashiers & lines. Now, 1 cashier no waiting. Ever. Store manager says this change has KILLED his location. They are very definitely losing sales volume around here.

Ron Roberts says:

I miss the coupons, but I will continue shopping there. #1) there is one within a mile of my home. #2) I like the size of the store for ease of finding things, and its just a much more pleasant experience than the big box stores, especially if you need assistance. #3) The quality of tools for the most part isn't all that bad. I mean really, this isn't the '60s any more when it comes to tool quality unless you want to pay 10X as much. For home use their stuff is fine.

Bazooka Joe says:

The 20-30% off coupons are what got me into their stores on impulse buying. I'm sure the class action lawsuit had something to do with the lack of coupons and no more catalogs. I actually liked the catalog even if it was an online catalog. Something nostalgic about sitting on the toilet and reading the HF catalog. It reminded me of my great grandparents talking about using the sears catalog as toilet paper during the depression. I could have told my grandkids that during the great Pandemic and TP shortage, the HF catalog saved the day. Mix in supply-side issues with the pandemic and pricing shooting up…I no longer frequent the store that much. Instead of a few times a month, maybe now I visit every 6 months just to see if there are any in-store deals. HF is pushing opening new stores into rural areas, which is a good move for the company – short term…maybe long term if they would let you order online and pick up at the store as other retailers do. I now have 3 stores within a 30 mile radius near me. One being built in my town as I type and one, 15 miles away, that just opened 2 weeks ago. I am not complaining, but it appears overkill. Their markup must be incredible. I'd rather just travel 15 miles and have the better deals and coupons back. The older hillbillies, that do not know how to use cell phones where I am located, are starved for retail stores like this. They may pack it for a couple of weeks during the grand openings, then most will get tired of it if there are no perceived deals. I've seen this with other stores that could not make it. There are too many auto places selling tools that have been here for years and many of these folks are brand loyal and clannish. Unfortunately, their kids know better and there is just too much competition online to where you can have stuff shipped directly to your door. I am not one to join retail clubs unless it is like Amazon, where you actually get fast shipping, movies, and music added to the deal. I used to be Sam's member, but now they have nothing worthwhile that I cant get cheaper in Walmart or online. I also dislike that the salespeople at HF have to push the club and "warranties". This pushes me to shop online and elsewhere. It is so gimmicky. I guess I am not the demographic HF wants.

Jay Babcock says:

I am done with HF. Their stuff is garbage for the most part but Lowes is now the same price or cheaper.

A M says:

HF tools are and always will be sub par, you need to modify them to make them work but that’s ok when you were getting it at a steep discount. Without coupons to justify the shotty QC I’d rather get a quality tools from HD

30fold says:

There goes my bathroom reading material!

joe lovercio says:

Now you have to pay for cheap discount Chinese tools! Who is jack ass idea was that. Most all other stuff is crap with only a few good items, without the coupons you’re wasting time never pay for a subscription to get a discount. End of Harbor freight. Goodbye.

Sam Batarseh says:

Now I have very much fewer trips or visits to the store. 20%-30% coupons allows me to buy the item of my choice rather than discounted items by HFT.

LostViking says:

There were a LOT of issues with the 20% coupons that I don't think many people knew about, with the increasing list of restrictions and then most people just not bringing one in and expecting to get it applied to their purchases automatically.
After many years… it just stopped serving it's purpose. It wasn't bringing customers in, because people just stopped bringing their coupons in.
