Unfortunate that people idolize that criminal and scam artist Jordan belfort more than the men who took him down. Those men are probably retired with a pension and a small plaque on their wall meanwhile belfort still trounces around free making money on his seminars.
I watched this movie recently and it shocked me how differently I viewed all the characters now as an adult as opposed to a teenager. It became quite a cathartic experience tbh and made me proud of the well-rounded human being Iβve become. Whoβd have thought Wolf of Wall Street would represent a coming-of-age in such a big way but it sure did
He's pretending like he didn't get rich off of scamming people, taking money from poor and average people alike, to line his own pockets. Like, that's literally the central concept of the movie, but people still somehow think he's cool cause he made money.
