Wow. We are twins in the way we organize. I have the exact system other than I don't have the office max zippered bag because I don't need it.

Heidi Talley says:

Great info
I might have to organize it this way

Yvonne Hurlbert says:

I love your little organizer you take with you. I have sepeaate envelopes rigt now and that gets crazy sometimes. I think I will try to get something like that.

Victoria Sibal says:

How many sets of inserts you are getting per week? Awesome organization.👍🏻

Mrs. Mags says:

I started using this same file system about 5-6 months ago and love it. I only clip what I need and it saves me so much time. I use the crate and bought the low profile hanging folders and I put my coupons in folders. I label the folders and have each week's inserts in one hanging file. After 5 months, I rotate out the old coupons and use those folders for the next week's. I just got into the rotation getting rid of April's inserts (I have gone back to those a few times in recent months). I get 5 newspapers a week and this holds everything I need. I want to add a few extra hanging files for ip's, restaurants, Harbor Freight, etc. I use a clear pencil pouch to hold my coupons and a small notebook that I keep my deals listed in. My pencils, pens, scissors, Sharpie and glasses (to see the fine print – I finally gave in and bought some…) are in a nearby drawer for easy access. I keep my coupon tote on the bottom shelf of my coffee table in my front room. I may move it upstairs into my office once I get it remodeled. For now, I do all my deals at the dining room table. P.S. I'm a new subscriber (I think from Jeff or Gina). I'm excited to learn more from you.

Pollette Curry says:

I use the crate to file mine also, and have different colored pencil pouches that I separate my coupons according to which store I'm most likely to use them in. After planning my trips, I have a nice faux snake skin one that I bring in the store, but usually keep the others in my car just in case I need them. On days when I know all my friends and I are going to be doing some serious couponing, I may bring my big 3 inch binder with me, that is mainly filled with uncut printed qs that I get offline or hangtags and peelies with long expiration dates. Sometimes I just will tote my whole crate of filed inserts in the trunk just in case I run across a good unadvertised sale or clearance. Between my coupon friends and I helping each other, we usually find a coupon between us for anything we want. I wanted to thank you for sharing your score of clip strips from the Dollar Tree. I asked the manager next time I was in there, and she gave probably 50 of them….. sure saves a lot of space on my stock pile shelves! I donated so much to hurricane relief that I'm starting over it seems ,but it was a good cause. Now as we speak, we're in the middle of Hurricane Nate. I guess at daylight we will check out the damage. So far we are lucky and have not lost power, although a lot of surrounding areas have. I'll be so glad when Hurricane season is over with! It has sure been a bad year! Thanks Jen, for all your help! Watch your videos every week when I'm notified!

Cristina Gonzalez says:

Great video! Your son gave me a good laugh with all that chatter!! Lol❤️

Pam Hocker says:

Hi Jen, I use those containers also to store my coupons. I did create a mini binder for coupons I will be using. I did get mine at Walmart. I think I paid $3 or $4 and it has a place on top to store things. thank you, Jen.

Dixie Boothe says:

I don't know how it would be easier for me to do I'm skatter brain I got hurt and I'm trying to do everything that some of you do but I get so confuse I have about 30.00. At CVS to go shopping before the 10th but they are rud e

Om Ali says:

I thought abt this method but what if you happen to be at a store and find a good clearance. Do you come home and cut and take them to the store again. I do the binder method cut all the coupons for the items I know I'll use and file them under different categories its a lot easier to coupon but like you said its time consuming.

Kristen Johnston says:

I do it about the same way. Keep them by dates. I do go through after X weeks and just clip the unexpired ones and throw them in an envelope. Then recycle the rest of the inserts. I also have that same organizer got it for $1 at dollar tree. Best investment yet! But I will be copying you and putting tape on it now! Can’t wait to see how you prepare for your hauls. Really looking forward to that one! 😄😄 and your son… adorable. He had me cracking up with those noises. 😄😄

Alesia Marie Silva says:

OMG! I organize my Qs the EXACT same way! Right down to the two black file boxes. One of mine has a broken latch too and I recently had to buy one of those crates for my older "archived" Qs LOL. I'm glad to know I'm not alone in doing this and for thinking cutting Qs is tedious and a waste of precious time that could be spent getting good deals! I keep my Qs in my trunk though. You never know when you're gonna need extra Qs or find something on clearance.

Birute00 says:

So neat and organized. Great tips

Faith Kruszynski says:

Super awesome video! I love watching your videos! Your son is such a doll! I tried doing that way & I couldn't find my coupons… so I went back to my binder. I might go back to this… um idk 😐

stephanie zahner says:

Tfs. I store my coupons the same way. And I have the same purple duck tape. I think your some is adorable

Debera Faulkner says:

Where do you get your coupons?

Joann Cragle says:

The binder is a lot to deal with
