Edward Feenman says:

So I figured out why I like this channel. I think it might even be the best on YouTube.
I'm not ever going to be a fanboi so don't get carried away, but your channel is a refreshing take on gun content.
First, you aren't to tacticool for skool. You don't wear a plate carrier and look back and forth 6 times every time you shoot. Myself, I was young, dumb and full of propaganda and sold myself into service of the US empire. I've been in gun fights and these YouTube range warriors are just fucking laughable.
Second, you aren't a self proclaimed YouTube gun expert. You don't preach from the pulpit the blasphemy of this or righteousness of that. You don't ever start a sentence with the words "let me tell you why you are wrong…"
Third, you aren't telling us to prepare for whatever nonsense Alex Jones is warning about, you aren't riding the big orange idiots nuts, telling everyone why Chump is the greatest thing to ever happen to 'Murica.
Frankly, I don't know anything of your politics, and that's the way it should be.
You are just a gun dude, tinkerer, normal guy who's having fun learning and sharing what you discover.
Beautiful concept because of it's simplicity.
Thank you for that.
Happy holidays man. Best to you and yours.

Ralph Cooper says:

So I got pulled over with three 80% builds the police had a hard time processing the idea you can build a gun

Patric Hagarty says:

What was the hardest thing to do when finishing the 1911?

Jolly Joker says:

Dude you should have the slide engraved with your name/logo maybe when you serialize it or something. Would give it a neat personal flare. Great content as always, simple with no garbage 👍

Moshiach_Tactical says:

Try one of the Wilson combat ETM or Vickers Tactical mags. By far THE best magazine!
As far as lubrication
Black rifle cherry balm no doubt or Wilson combat gun grease
My competition buddies and I use that on our 1911's and after a few hundred rounds it beds in with the pores of the metal and can almost run it dry and sounds like glass! Give it a shot!

highflyer131 says:

How long did it take to complete the whole build? Also, how much do you have to sink into jigs and tooling to complete one of these bad boys? I'd like to do one myself. I love the 1911 platform.

[Armament & Axes] chris B says:

thank you for the video ! love the 1911, haters yeah whatever ! cant beat A 1911 trigger !

madbomer72 says:

I wish these things weren't so expensive for what they are

Randy Smedley says:

What's your pull weight on the trigger? My 80% came from stealth and has a pic rail. Zero issues

SocomElite187 says:

The 3 different tones of blacks kind of drives me crazy 😌

Travis Pyles says:

Gun looks great and seemed to function very well, congrats on another awsome build and great video. I think im gonna build one for my dad for his birthday, hes always liked them and wanted one but hates the price range u would normally pay and doesnt go cheap on anything. Cant tell u how much time i spend on ur channel EVERYDAY! ill just say that my phones is always on the charger or i have to charge it 2-3 times a day. Ur killin my phone but so worth it! Keep up the good work brother.

Brad Chenoweth says:

Not to hate, but I wouldn't consider it broken in until you're 800-1000 rounds in. Im glad to hear that its running great because this is one of my favorite builds that you've done. I mean I love all your builds and they're all interesting. Its cool to see some one building a 1911 as they're not exactly something as easy as an 80% Glock. Lets face it, the PF940, 940C, and 940v2 are pretty damn easy to build even with just minor hand tools. 1911's, not so much. I really like the slide milling on it. They're very tasteful and not completely over the top. This build got me really excited to try a 1911 myself. I'll get to it eventually, I just have a few things I needed to handle first and a couple of other pew projects to wrap up.

Pavestar1 says:

Chip McCormick mags are the bomb

Dave b says:

Hey dude, new sub here, really enjoying your vids! Fun stuff 👍 keep up the good work

Everett Loftis says:

looks nice good job on it ..

cHino 337 says:

Nice build, great video, thanks!

John Couture says:

More accurate than your glocks ? I shot my buddys 1911 and i had good groups off the rip. Can you home defense your 80 % guns legally without registering them in your state?

stoneyballz says:

ACT mags i think they're called are very reliable too. One came with my RIA Tactical and it was pretty awesome. Gun was great and accurate. Blacked out sights with a light rail for less than $600. But the one thing i didn't like was their logo laser etched in big white letters down one side of the slide. I've heard you talk about how you don't care for it much either lol. But great video man!

Captain Morgan says:

Awww bummer, you should have engraved a s/n and model #/type on the frame before the cerekote. O well, live and learn, next 1911 build make sure you do the engraving before the cerekote. I have a great engraver somewhat near me where I take all of my stuff, but it's in El Monte, CA, and that is a little far for you to travel. But good luck, keep building!

Bryan Lile says:

Are you left eye dominate?

SnoopyONEx says:

Great job on that build bro…I think I will stick with my polymer builds for now:)

DUIShenanigans says:

Run a trigger track stone through your trigger track, that will de-bur your track so you don’t get those scratches on the side of the trigger shoe

Tobin 19 says:

How come you didnt do the 10rds wilson combat mags

Jeremiah Sears says:

Nice video good job your vids are always good

Charles Bronson says:

Nice looking gun. I’m not a big 1911 fan for self defense. It’s cool that you have a fully functioning gun that looks nice and can say “I made this.”

M Blake Jr says:

Doesn't need serialized to carry it, defeats the whole purpose of 80 percent

Justinn Acosta says:

Loving the build! 1911 is where its at! I love both my builds..

Trevor Boyd says:

Sights are better on a 1911 in my opinion because they just line up better. Grip angle is better and trigger is better mixed with the tight tolerance 1911's often out perform any polymer pistol in accurate. That being said I'm not bias. I own a super tricked out Glock as well as a 1911.
