Getting a discount off retail price for downloading is right. I’ve never understood why Nintendo doesn’t offer games cheaper on the eShop, there’s no wasted cartridge, shipping, storage in a shop, etc. Breath of the Wild is a £60 title, using a voucher makes it £42 here in the UK, that’s a steal…
Basically, Nintendo are more likely to get your money through vouchers. Some people will redeem a voucher on a game they never intended on buying. Smart move Nintendo. I can’t see Witcher III being redeemable by voucher.

Once physical games of Nin start to dissapper either next gen, ppl will start to see why Nin released their voucher.
