Fun video, glad to see life is getting back to somewhat normal after the hurricane Margaret!  I can never stick to a plan.  I forget my coupons, buy crap I shouldn't, go when I am starving, or forget my list. Lol.  I do try to shop around for certain products though.  Walmart for paper goods and prepackaged items (never meat or produce, ours is horrible) and I generally buy meat, produce and other items that are on sale that week at the grocery store.  Luckily we aren't too picky so that usually works.

Yolanda Solis says:

Okay, so don't buy organic bananas from Denzel Washington. Got it!

Annie G says:

Great to see different shopping items that we don't see in the UK. That Ranch Brocolli sounded tasty, so think I'll look online to see what's in that.

Thefrugalgal says:

Do you have an Aldi grocery store where you live? Go there you will save.

Dave says:

Great to see you happy 🙂

Thelma Thrift says:

I love the prepackaged salads, I find that I wind up throwing out half a lettuce, celery etc. So it often works best for me.

Gail LaFollette says:

I buy overripe bananas for banana smoothies or banana frosty. I peel and cut them up and put in freezer.

Lisa Marie says:

List most of the time. I shop at Aldi's for most of my fresh fruits and veggies, they are cheaper then the regular grocery store. In Florida, we have Publix and they have their buy one get one free deals, so I take advantage of that. Coupons both digital and paper. Meal planning where some meals last two days, like we have rice and beans one night and then the next night use the extra for taco night.

I use a list nine times out of ten and I also use the calculator on my phone, but sometimes I get the impulse buy bug, my last small haul was one such time, i had to go past a small thrift store to get to the super market.
I hope things for you and your family get back to normal real soon.
Cheers.

Convenience products are expensive, I buy the larger portion and have(had-my kid are grown)my kids help me divide things up into single portions. Instead of buying food with sauces, get creative with the condiments already in the refrigerator. I typically shop Target, they have good sale prices with coupons and the saving 'cartwheel' app. I have more ideas but I am just thankful that I have an Aldi store in my area. Gallon of milk last week was $1.60! I look forward to hearing about your saving tips. Take care and best wishes with your town's cleanup. Julie

Debbie Bruner says:

Wow! Your milk is expensive. We have an Aldi, its very economical there, $.94 a gallon.
Thank you for all the videos you do. Glad you and your family are safe. 🙂

donna wilde says:

I just bought a book called Salads In Jars Cookbook. You put the salads in jars(canning jars?) and they will keep for a few days. I'm going to try this. Great video! Thanks!
