MY NOTES from COUPONING IN 2023 TIPS from Krys The Maximizer, Money Saving Coach. Couponing has changed and evolved. Maximize your budget by couponing. Get what you need at the cheapest price possible and SAVE money.
1) Create 2 Lists. Lists tell us what to buy. Don't let the coupons tell you what to buy. Create lists.
✅ Make a Needs List: changes week by week. Things you need urgently. (Groceries)
✅ "Never want to run out of" list (your stockpile list) stays the same… Can add or take away from this list as needed.
2) Download store apps (make a folder of stores I shop at) (ie: Amazon, Kroger, Publix, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Target, Dollar General, Family Dollar)
3) Look at weekly ads to determine what I need, and don't wanna run out of…what's on sale that's on my 2 lists.
✅Make a Detailed grocery list and coupon list… Knowing what's on sale where.
4) Decide what store you're shopping at this week (break it down and decide)
5) Search for Coupons. Research coupons through the coupon database (Southern Savers) focus on using digital coupons.
6) Check your Rebate apps:
Ibotta, fetch, fluz, checkout 51, shopkick (cash back and rebate offers)
7) Write out your deals breakdown
Breakdown list headers: Item, Price, Coupon, Reward, Rebate App, Store OOP, Final Price After Rewards

8) Set your coupon budget
Make a collective budget or a store budget. Use cash or a gift card to pay for items… so you're not tempted to spend more money than planned. Don't overspend and buy things you NEED.
