If you’re looking for ways to entice customers to make a purchase, try offering a code for a free shipping discount! Sometimes when someone is on the fence about buying something, free shipping may be just what they need to make that final decision to buy.
Customers need to enter discount codes at checkout, so you need to make the customers aware of the discount by promoting it.

You can create a discount code from your Shopify admin. To begin, click “discounts” to open the Discounts page. Click,“codes” and then click “create discount code”.

If a specific group of customers is chosen to be eligible for the discount, such as "Email Subscribers," would customers that sign up for the newsletter automatically receive the code?
