That's alot of money and unless you have a financial plan that involves wagering 5-10K a week, you've got one helluva battle to face to keep that status.

Also, as Jacob shared at the start, the perks aren't so 'perky' now-adays… Lines for Diamond and 7 stars are growing longer… Non-gaming amenities are slowly deterating (shows, gifts, room/board are not having the same value as they once did; and new attractions are not included anymore (F1, SuperBowl, Super Entertainer Shows aren't being reserved for Diamond and 7 Star players like they used to and you have to still pay premiums to this stuff)).

Again, it's worth it if you have a game plan to max your comps7-10 months out of the year for other stuff or if you have a great bankroll refresh rate. Otherwise this setting you up for financial disaster

We'll head across the street to Cosmo/Bellagio. At least we won't find vagrants on the 33rd floor sleeping and using the garbage can as a toilet, and there will be an actual security guard stationed at the elevators to prevent this and other BS that we encountered.

Takes one day with 10x credit multiplier to make diamond plus and regular diamond on 10x is basically a freebie. Once you make Diamond, unless you are going for seven stars, it’s not even worth shooting for plus or elite, you will not get better rooms or more free play. With, Plus you get 4 drinks (cocktails/Starbucks) and Elite 600 dollars airfare credit once a year is nice, but having to earn 60k extra tier credits (possibly a lot of extra money) is just not worth it. In my opinion, once you make diamond work on mgm gold…I’m not 100% sure but I believe diamond plus members will tier match to mgm gold for a limited time.
