This deal would probably be good for Bayonetta 2. After all, if you bought a used copy of the physical release, you wouldn't have the code to download Bayonetta 1, which would be a huge loss in value.
Personally I think the vouchers are a deal

Why do they charge full price when all you get is the license to play I don't understand I want to be digital only but I don't think it's fair to pay so much any way my rant over
I usually only get physical copies of the games I want, but this voucher deal I felt was too good to pass up. And I mean, why not? I had a few extra dollars lying around and a plan for the games I will redeem. The deal is better than nothing.

Reasons why I don’t pay for online yet……. smash servers. If they made them work and dedicate a server at least which is stable and minimal lag like Splatoon 2 then I am in!
i live in canada and on amazon.ca there is only 2 listings for donkey kong tropical freeze and they are $85 USED. IF YOU WANT IT NEW IT'S ANYWHERE FROM $90 TO $145

You do realize because everyone is complaining they are going to try and correct your arguments in the worst possible way by increasing the price to where the voucher price is "Reasonable".
If you want to buy things digitally it's a pretty good deal. Digital games are almost always more expensive than physical copies after a few weeks.
I use Best buy for my games if you buy their Gamer club membership for $20 you get 20% off games for a year and a whole mess of other perks
when the thing you buy to make things cheaper is more expensive than the thing you're buying
Basically u can use this on any game that’s slightly old to be used

I do (sorta) want to get this so I can save $20 when I buy FE: Three Houses and Pokemon: S/Sh when they come out on release day. Probably is… They currently don't have a preorder option for Pokemon. I don't if that's cuz it's Pokemon (and they expect you to buy it full price) or if it's because the release date isn't announced yet.
I'm not that big into physical games, so this deal seems to have potential to me. I also live miles away from the nearest game store, so Amazon is what sends me my physical stuff. Anyone got any tips?

U say it’s 99.98 but u forget tax which will make it around 100$ so if anything ur saving 1-5 cents
you have 12 months to buy a game after you get the voucher, i would not buy
