I've been getting my points taken away 400 point and 600 points this month alone. I've changed my pin number twice this month. I think someone from inside kroger. I'm going to the news or my law office is going to get involved soon.

@valeriebradford266 says:

Came here to find out how to use rest of one month combined with some of next month ( your example .90 cents, plus .10 of next month) NOT PERMITED! What a bummer as well as NO ROLLOVER. I did like the two car tip.Thank you for suppling this information, it was helpful!!

@jbar6618 says:

You can use a max discount of $1 per gallon on a single purchase of up to 35 gallons of gas. So I always bring empty gas containers to maximize the savings of $35 if my tank can't hold it all.
With the 4x points on friday I"m having trouble using all our points so I let my kids use them to fill their family vehicles.

@sithjediemperoroverlord7337 says:

with that dollar off discount i would be bringing alot of fuel containers with me

First, you don't need to hit yes if you're going to scan your card anyway, you can just scan your card. The 35 gallon thing is the only thing I use my pickup truck for in the summer. I use the truck for our farm in the winter. Every month, I put 6 or 7 jerry cans in the truck and fill them up. We only have old gas tractors (and newer electric ones) at our farm. We've been doing that 35 gallons a month for years. That's most of the gas we use. With more and more electric stuff, it's getting harder to use the 35 gallons. We only end up going to a gas station the one time a month and when we're going for a long trip somewhere (in the Chevy Volt, PHEV.)

@TLStitches says:

The gas station I can redeem points at doesn't ask if I'm a Kroger member. I have tried figuring out how to redeem points at the pump but have never been able to figure it out. The pamphlet at the gas station only talks about how you can earn points towards your gas

@lorelei9393 says:

You did a great job explaining the best way to use your points 😊

@realSamAndrew says:

The calculation comes out to around 1.5% to 3% cash back on every dollar spent at Kroger, (depending on how much gas you can pump) and the "cash" must be redeemed on fuel. In order to save $20, you need to spend around $1000 on groceries in a single month. Great if you handle that. Most people can't or shouldn't.

@heatherbrandt7603 says:

I never thought of taking both our cars. We will have to try it sometime. Is there a way to know what your fuel points will be before you get there? I have had piddly amounts lately despite buying often via boost.

@suzboeh633 says:

I am in Ohio so have Kroger, but the Kroger rewards program is also available to redeem at Shell gas stations in our area. The Shell stations do not give you a choice as to which points you want to use (last month's or the current month or a custom amount). It will just default to the highest amount available up to 1000 points. So if I have 870 points from last month and 1020 from this month, it will use the current month's points since that was higher. We try to use our last month's points before they are eclipsed by the current month balance or we go to a Kroger gas station where we do have the choice of which month to use.

@elainel7924 says:

We fill both of our car tanks when we can. Especially when it's 1.00. I believe it's up to 35 gallons per discount.

@NattyTime517 says:

I only have 1 vehicle, so I only use 1/2 points at a time along with filling up my gas cans.

@jenniferrosenthal7731 says:

Where I live, we have to press the cancel button to begin with our phone number and we do not get to choose which month’s points to use. We take 2 vehicles and gas cans every time. Yesterday we saved $1.50/gal and maxed out at 35 gals

@curlyfries5095 says:

I believe you could gain points from any Kroger subsidiary, such as Dillons and King Sooper, and many others. Just look and see which stores they are.
