I guess I didn’t realize you had to pay taxes on it. If you are paying taxes on it, are you able to write off the cost of coupons, gas, etc? To me, selling these products is more like having a garage sale. The item is yours and you no longer need it. I don’t believe garage sales don’t get taxed. Very gray area!

I still consider myself a newbie (started last summer) and not really ready for reselling but I have a few questions if it's ok.
You mentioned reselling bi-weekly, but how much items do you think is enough to have purchased for a sale? I have more than enough for my family but not sure if I have enough to make a stockpile sale.
Has anybody tried to negotiate the price at the meeting place? How did you deal with them?
Also about tax…made me wonder about when I had garage sales because I never thought about paying tax from the profit of garage sale.
