My Husband was always a bit reluctant to shop the yellow stickers at first so I reframed why I was doing it to not wanting that food to go in the bin so we're helping to save food waste ð Just another bonus as well as saving yourself money! We also have a couple of days each week where we don't eat meat and it saves us a decent amount each month.

Iâve found the yellow stickers still being more expensive than a cheaper version.
Hi Lara, I love your grocery budget money saving vids!
I have teen boys. They are bottomless pits. A chicken barely does one meal.
It's just me and my husband in the house and a chicken only lasts one meal ð I have a phobia of leftovers or reheating food though. I just can't eat them or touch them. I also can't freeze food and then eat for the same reason…even uncooked chicken etc.
100% with the grocery store clearance items. I check the clearance shelves every time I go in.

Hi there food bank are not money save tips Lara. I feel I should point this out to you . I had to use food bank this year because i been out work and on universal credit on does go that fair. If you come out at wrong point of the month and your employer not paid you can leave with no money. You can only loud six box or bag in a year each box is 3 days of food it only to help till your next UC. payment come in . The first time I walk church to pick my food help after get a voucher from the cab office . The old people that do this are some of the nice people you will ever meet. once they give you a coffee or tea and home made cake. They came back with my food I Said thank you walk out walk sat down and cry like a little boy. I never in my life fell such a failed
