How to Start Couponing for Beginners | Couponing 101 in 2026
This video is a lifesaver for anyone managing online shopping. I’ve been trying to stick to a stricter budget this year, and these tips are exactly what I needed. One habit that really helps me is checking discount codes before checkout. Recently, I came across Valuecom while looking for updated codes, and it actually worked on a few of my orders. It’s always frustrating when codes don’t work, so finding something reliable makes a difference. I also leave items in my cart for a day or two since brands sometimes send extra discounts. Combining these habits with your tips really helps me save consistently.
I’ve been trying to be more careful with my online shopping habits lately, especially since it’s so easy to spend without thinking. What helps me the most is taking a little extra time to compare prices and check if there are any better options available before I buy something. I also try to avoid impulse purchases by waiting a day or two before making a decision. Sometimes while browsing, I come across platforms like PromoPro UK, which reminds me to slow down and consider my choices more carefully. It’s not something I rely on all the time, but it can be useful in certain situations. Small habits like this have actually helped me manage my spending better over time.
In here in South africa
Learning how to do this again I used to be the extreme coupon with the paper coupons but now that it's went digital. It seems like it's much harder to do especially to really stock up on things.
I am a very new beginner first "couponing run" yesterday and today.. I am hoping for the a good long journey that I improve my skill!
I learned that a simple habit can save a lot of money when shopping online: always check for discount codes before paying. Many people skip this step and end up paying full price. I usually spend a minute looking for coupons or deals first.
One place I sometimes check is PromoPro UK, because it occasionally lists codes or small discounts that aren’t obvious on the store’s website. Even small savings can add up if you shop online often.
Another tip that works for me is comparing prices between different stores and waiting a bit before checking out. Being a little patient and using coupon sites can make online shopping much more budget-friendly.
Do you have a video on how to use some of those rebate apps. I have a love hate relationship with ibotta, but also ive just started using it. 🙄😁
Hi am new to this I did download the dollar general fora specific address but can I go to any dollar general regardless to the address they prompted me to put when I was signing up thks for the reply
Can you do a 2026 selling stockpile video. ❤❤ your videos thank you for sharing your knowledge of couponing. Have blessed day as well.
I'm a disabled vet and I don't know anything about it. I'd like to learn to save some limited money.
Thank you, new subscriber.
I would love to learn this savings. My excuse has always been that I'm not that good in math…so hopefully I learn.
How can I get paper Groupon?
I seen someone mentioning you on tiktok I had to come to your channel ima family of 9 I need to learn how to Groupon
Thank you so much for explaining everything to me. I had to watch you twice to get a clear understanding as to what couponing is and most likely take you along with me to the store. My family and I appreciate him. Thank you for extreme couponing the love.😊
I want to coupon but I want to coupon for unscented detergents and less chemical brands since I have compromised health 😢
I’ve been trying to be more careful with my money, especially when buying things online, and small habits really help. Before buying anything, I like to check prices in a few shops so I know what’s fair. After that, I always look for discounts or coupons, and PromoPro UK is useful for this because it keeps things simple. I’ve noticed that waiting for sales, like seasonal or special offers, can save a good amount without any extra effort. Another tip that works well is using a discount together with free delivery, which people often forget about. These small savings may not seem like much at first, but over time they really add up. You don’t need to change what you buy, just how and when you buy it, and that makes saving money feel much easier.
I’ve been trying to be more intentional about saving money lately, especially with prices going up everywhere, and videos like this are honestly helpful. One thing that worked for me was slowing down before buying anything online and checking if there’s a better deal somewhere else. I also compare prices across a few stores and wait a day before checking out, because most of the time I realize I don’t really need the item right away. Another habit I picked up is stacking small savings: store discounts, seasonal sales, and cashback offers together. I recently started using Valuecom as part of my routine to spot deals I might miss otherwise, and it’s helped me feel more confident that I’m not overpaying. Saving money isn’t about being cheap, it’s about being smart and consistent. Small habits really do add up over time
Is there still a way to get paper coupons? Its so much easier.
Hi Star! You have been such a coupon inspiration! Can you please do an updated how to resell your stockpile now that inflation is so high and how to factor that in?
Great Advice!!!
Thank you so much for helping people starting out with your very thorough information. I've been couponing now for 2 years and you were one of those persons I trusted to steer me right at the beginning. However, I still watch your weekly video's just to see if there are any deals I may have missed, especially at Publix. Not only are you a good steward, but you are a giver and bless others with your knowledge.
I’m so excited to get started!
I started couponing years ago in 2012. I learned the basics and strategies from coupon mom. I also liked and followed the Krazy coupon lady, and learned other things through trial and error. I had my couponing binder with the baseball cards that held my paper coupons. 😂 I had a wonderful stockpile. Life happened and I wasn’t able to coupon and do a lot of stockpiling. Now, I am able to start again but the game has changed and I need to play catch up! 😂😂😂 So, thanks for sharing your knowledge with us! 😊
No one talks about couponing at Walmart. I’ve always had issues with Walmart.
Im just starting after finally deciding on going for it(didnt because of the confusion) and watching Extreme Couponing on TLC. Thank you!
I'm A Beginner, & Hope It Becomes A Big Experience After Having To Feed A Family Of 6.
All this info is helpful 💜! Putting deals together can be confusing for me. I’ve noticed that some Ibotta offers still attach even though they say, “This purchase cannot be combined with coupons for the same product.” Sometimes I miss out because of that, or I’ll post a deal and someone will comment about an Ibotta rebate I didn’t add since it says it can’t be combined with coupons. I just never really know for sure.
