My friend keeps on sending me this as an insult I’m scared
Why do the cleaning pads have strips on the upper side that attaches to the mop? I thought I had to remove them in order for the pad to stick. Well, turns out they keep the pad in place. Why no instructions on the box? I waisted a perfectly good pad. 😔
There is a cardboard insert that you need to take out for the cleaning solution bottle to fit
For cleaning solution not spraying: Take out the white cardboard where the solution is inserted
Nobody but this trash it's cheap and doesn't do anything it just spreads all the dirt around your floor. I had to hand wash my floor every time I changed the pad which I went through the whole box just to clean my floor once. What an awful product it should be pulled immediately off the shelves
How do I refill the water jug?
Mine is not spraying the solution out. I can't figure out why.

How to separate cleaning pad to adhere to power mop?
If yours isn't spraying and not making any motor sounds, try checking the metal triangle prongs underneath the batteries! Mine weren't pushed down far enough on one side so it wasn't connecting. Apparently this is a common issue.
So if you’re doing a larger kitchen you use only one pad? Seems like you’d just be spreading around all the gunk.
Just bought it. I had a hard time trying to get the bottom portion of the pole to snap into place because the button was so close to where the battery compartment snaps into. I snagged some plastic off but it finally snapped into place. At first i thought i had bad batteries but the whole time is that stupid pole portion. Otherwise, works great on my studio flooring. Especially around my dogs eating area and foot/paw traffic from the sliding door area. I also am going to the dollar store and get washable microfiber pads that will fit on the head of the swifer. Saw the hack on YouTube. 🙂

Does anyone else have a swifter wetjet that only uses 2 batteries and not 4??? All of the videos I look for all have 4 batteries. There’s only room for 2 batteries. My swifter won’t spray out, and I also took the cardboard out from where the bottle goes 😭

My cousin actually bought me my Swiffer. It came in the mail a few days ago. I finally got the courage to put it together. Only problem was that piece of cardboard where the solution goes. That's why I came here. Then I saw all the comments about it so it wasn't just me. Lol. Love my Swiffer. Thank you cousin.

I guess the product changed a bit over the years because this video says 4 batteries but now in 2023 I just bought one and it only needs 2 batteries.
Used it for the first time today, worked perfectly for me!
