This video shows you how I go about searching for coupons while I go shopping ta Harbor Freight. It’s easier than ever to save money at HF, all you have to do is source the coupons and bring your smart phone with you!

Do you have a different technique than I do? Share in the comments below! SMASH THAT LIKE BUTTON!

The only thing I didn’t cover in this video – what if you don’t have a smart phone to bring with you to present coupons? Your only other option would be to print them out, which is pretty costly, given how expensive ink cartridges are.

They no longer have the coupon link on the homepage. I use the app on my Android phone and update the coupons before I hit the store. Problem now is you can't use coupons for the following: Open Box Items, Instant Savings, compressors, floor jacks, power stations, safes, storage cabinets, chests or carts, trailers, welders, Admiral, Ames, Atlas, Avanti, Bauer, Central Machinery, Cobra, CoverPro, Daytona, Diamondback, Drummond, Earthquake, Fischer, Hercules, Icon, Jupiter, Poulan, Predator, Tailgator, Viking, Vulcan, Zurich.

What's up man? Thanks for your effort with the videos. Hats off to the content creators of the world! (Warning – long comment, but full of info I hope will be useful for someone!) Ok so I'm pretty new at the Harbor Freight game, but good news is I'm a power shopper from way back. Sometimes we watch videos for our own good, and sometimes it's about what we can offer as a viewer, right? So, I'm gonna offer up my method of getting the best pricing available at harbor freight. (It's worth noting that because I don't drive due to epilepsy, I'm strictly an online customer of HF…I have no experience with the "in store only" buys and it pisses me off but anyway…another topic, another day…)

First, go.harborfreight.com allows you to search HFs inventory by item number or keyword, and it will show any current coupons as well as some expired ones for your search parameters. Careful here, bc at least the way I view this site (via Chrome on Windows and Android), it's easy to miss items – for example, if I search "saw", there will be multiple results, but only one or two will show up on that first page – tapping/clicking "next" or "more" is necessary…it's just a little strange, idk how to explain it, but you will see what I mean and if not, great! (Also, here I'm prompted by my browser to add to my home screen, and I have to wonder if perhaps that's what some people think is the app? I can totally see how it could be perceived that way, but maybe they know something I don't…completely possible.) Although one might think this is a comprehensive/all-inclusive list of current coupons here on what seems to be a very official kinda site, one would be mistaken…at least, that was the case for me. I've yet to complete a purchase without it being necessary to cross-reference with a 2nd method, and each time, I've had successful hits from both the site above and #2.. wikibuy….if you don't have or don't know about this chrome extension or have avoided it like I did, do yourself a favor and install this MF-er on one of your devices and just open it when you are ready to make a purchase and give it a try. (For your convenience, here's an invitation link: http://wbuy.me/0N6HLT6 ) This is a chrome extension that works like some of the others out there in some ways but is much more user friendly. Much to my financial detriment, if bargain shopping requires effort, I pay unnecessarily – I think this is a widespread kinda condition, and that's why I'm sharing this no-effort-required info. Lol Depending on your settings, it will detect when you are in checkout and prompt you to allow it to check for coupons and it will then quickly scan the web for all available (to it's sources, apparently) coupon codes, and if you've never been a wikibuy benefactor, prepare to be amazed. For real…at least, that's been my experience. Between these two things and of course the HF emails, I'm thinking all coupon bases are covered. I've been extremely happy with my decision to allow wikibuys help….the money I've saved at HF and Amazon alone makes it worth the brief annoyance of installing the extension. It's a no brainer, set it and forget it kinda solution that is just a part of my [online] shopping world now.

I used to do the same thing you explain in this video jimmy, but I would inevitably forget something and end up spending money I could have saved. As with anything, it's all about what works for us individually, but I would imagine you can use some part of this info to your advantage. If not, that's okay too. Take what you can use and leave the rest…happy shopping! Keep rockin out the content and take care of you first…we need you! (PS – any tips on a workaround for in store only purchases?)

Love your vids, but check on the volume disparity between the voice and music. E.g., MUSIC IS SO LOUD!!! (About blew my soundbar speakers at the beginning, but then the voice was okay.) Again, though, nice post — I enjoy your stuff.

Thanks, I should stick to list but man I always have an impulse purchase when I am at HF and then I go out to HB coupon database while I wait to checkout. I really enjoy your videos
