Olive Garden is one of the most ubiquitous American chain restaurants. It's not really Italian, but it's one of the most quintessential Italian American restaurants arguably in the world! There are many items on the Olive Garden menu, and I always felt the Fettuccine Alfredo was pretty good tbh. But we will be trying the super generous Olive Garden Buy One Take One deal.
This deal combines the Olive Garden unlimited soup and breadsticks deal with an entree and a free takeout pasta to eat later. It's $14.99 in the suburbs, though I wound up eating at the Times Square Olive Garden and there it's $20.99. But still, it's two pastas, several bowls of soup, and several breadsticks for just $21! Pretty sweet! I headed to an Olive Garden near me to see if the deal is all it's cracked up to be.

All Olive Garden is, is a McDonalds of American-ized Italian food. You need to learn more about restaurants. Of coarse the bread comes in big bags. The salad in bags to if you saw all of it youโd find it gross. Everything else is frozen or heated up except they most likely boil up the pasta fresh. Your palate is very lacking,

The two highest performing Applebee's in the entire system are located in Times Square. This is because tourists are like you, eventually getting tired of fancy food, and they go with what is familiar. Red Lobster is in Times Square also, and there isn't another one in Manhattan. The Chick-fil-As in Manhattan are mostly clustered around Times Square also.
Imagine being a tourist in NYC… and eating at Olive Garden.. SMH….

I hadn't gone in ten years. Tried it last month. Mostly awful. Salad was OK. But, I get it. It's a restaurant for families at a reasonable price, and the kids will like it.
Those breadsticks, which are not good, will keep the kids from screaming in the dining room.

I chose Olive Garden for my high school graduation dinner because I thought it was fancy lol ๐ almost 25 years later and I still enjoy those breadsticks and salad!
