I think he looks awesome! I'm sure at some point you could catch him on a sale. And I saw him at the parks, so there's always the AP discount! I really loved D-O! My only negative on this toy is that he doesn't talk like he did in the movie.
I bought one of these D-O droids to add to my Star Wars collection. The one thing that I wasn’t happy about is that I cannot use it with my Hasbro BB-8 unit because they use the same remote control Channel

I just got one of those today and I loved it but the only problem I have with it is you can't drive it outside because it can't drive in sunlight or at least mine doesn't
I want one of these little fellas to accompany my BB-8 hero droid. Looks like the 60 dollar version is the way to go because the more expensive one seems to just constantly fall over. Thanks for the review!

Just scored one for $30 at Fred Meyer! Sale price + 2 coupons! Wish it would say "no thank you" though, but at least it doesn't fall over.
I bought the $150 one (I got it on sale for $100), and it's fun to play with, but it's not worth $150. If your floors are even a little bumpy, he falls over a lot. Also, it does not work on carpet.

D-O speaks English in the movie, dang it, Hasbro! This bothers me.

We’ve put fully charged batteries in it yet the remote still isn’t working. Anybody else have this problem? What do I do?
Hey, I think it's worth noting that we purchased this for Christmas this year and when we tried to play with the Hasbro BB8 droid that we purchased for Christmas last year, the controller operates both droids! So it is impossible to have 2 different people play with each droid in the same room at the same time. Both droids will pick up on the one controller and move only by it, not separately. HUGE design flaw, imo.
Just got this for my son for Christmas. Pretty neat toy. I just wish ours was that loud. I can barely hear the droid sounds.
Wheres the voice?? "No thank you etc?" that was the best part of it in the movie..
I left for a while and when I came back he was off and i don’t know how to turn him back on. Pls help
