LGR – 1993 Toys"R"Us Catalog Nostalgia
These magazines are pure nostalgic bliss. As a kid, I loved "shopping" with nothing more than my eyes, an inkpen, and my imagination.

Man, Legos were still expensive even by today's prices. 90 bucks for a pirate ship 30 years ago. Yikes.
Dang seems like toys were always sort of expensive, 30$-50$ was a lot for 93, even now for something you're just going to destroy anyways. No wonder i got most of my toys from the 5$-10$ range at the dollar general or Walmart, or garage sales.
"Hi kid's we're home early"
That commercial is still burned into my brain.
Is that a young Lindsay Lohan with the video painter??
9:55 they don't call it the land of the free for nothing 😉
7:45 holy shit it's the Board James page
Also I gotta say, getting a GB, Link's Awakening, and SML2 (maybe throw in Kirby's DL and Tetris if you're feeling Tetris-y) would make for one amazing, reasonably affordable Christmas in '93.
So at 6:12 I’m pretty sure that’s Lindsey Lohan in the bottom left corner…
6:45 Lindsay Lohan?!?
That's LINDSAY LOHAN at 6:25 lower left corner!

Bull that you find those old dolls at the beginning of the video in thrift shops.
Well not the original baby alive that's for sure. Yes on ebay but I'd they ever show up in A thrift shop like my 2007 learns to potty that's because people don't know they go for $100 of dollars on ebay and it was A fluke.
@6:37 young lindsay lohan, had the talkboy and i still have the 2xl robot minus the tape
Dude I had the 6 wheel scorcher! Man I totally forgot about it… It drove like a zero turn mower. No wheel just if you wanted to turn you would go forward with the left wheels and reverse with the right. It was awesome
Oh crap, I think that's Lindsay Lohan @ 6:12 lol
14:23 What we're all here for.
Oh wow! @6:35 that’s Lindsey Lohan in the bottom left. Lmao 😂
DUDE that was Lindsay Lohan playing with the Video Painter, lmao
Thanks so much for this upload I love these old catalogues.
