I've never seen coupons like those. The discount is either a percentage and/or they don't allow to stack discounts.
Its a store sale so they have it on special and coupons are paid by the company to the store

Set up? No way! In a reality show?! (Sarcasm? Yes!)
1 They know because if the day of the week. Monday afternoon the old Sunday papers get dumped. 2. Recycling paper dumpster are relatively clean. 3. The $3 dollar razor coupon was for Any Bic or whatever razor he got the cheapest one. Companies stopped 'any' coupons. Coupons are much more specific now.

Since the whole family was dumpster diving to find the coupons and the whole family was there during the shopping trip, how come he claims that he saved all those money? The whole family worked for that and not just him.

Also these stores bend the rules quite a bit to get on the show. After stores saw this they stopped the double down coupons. Now you can only use a manufacturer coupon with a different coupon.
Go dumpster diving on college move out day. Collect tossed text books give them to the bookstore for buy back on text books you didnβt get. They toss Nike shoes away take them to a consignment clothes store. I only did it once lol when I lived in dorms. Made $500.00

How do they do it? and why you can't just take the cash: Mfr's refund the outlet for the full purchase price for every item, regardless the price at which it is charged to the customer. Many people don't use coupons when there's already a sale, thinking they'll save the coupon when things are full price again. You really have to pay attention to get this right…so many retailers run out of sale items and don't restock until the item is full price again. MY QUESTION: what does one DO with all this stuff?

This video is over 6 years ago. Stores don't allow that many coupons NOW. I was invited on the show but local store wouldn't participate
