I am really fortunate to live where I do! It is a small town of 900 people and the nearest mall is about 200 miles away! We have an Opportunity Shop (Op Shop) that most people are involved in donating and buying from. They are church based, therefore free to the needy. People donate all of the time and it works great for changing out your wardrobe. You never know what kind of brand new clothes you'll find for a dollar or two!!!

I am learning so much from you through your blog and was thrilled to find your youtube channel. Thank you for your generous, inclusive spirit!

The One Week Wardrobe says:

Lately, I've been learning a lot about how clothes are made, and it's pretty off-putting. I started a challenge for the year: to pare down my wardrobe to just seven outfits (changing out when it gets hot, obviously!) and only allowing myself to make one new purchase per quarter. My hope is that if I buy fewer things, I can afford to spend more so that I can source them as ethically as possible. (But ThredUp and eBay are favorites of mine!)
