Chicago Nabisco bakers work 12-hour days and weekends in extreme heat to make Belvita biscuits & Wheat Thins. One worker tells us that while she’s forced to miss family time to work, her managers rarely if ever work weekends. All of Nabisco’s U.S. factories are on strike to demand dignity on the job and stop cuts to wages and health care. Workers are calling for a boycott of Oreos and other Nabisco products.

I won't buy till its over. If the US gov can't work to keep them here then I will go without. Just a nugget of truth incase your missing it. The prices won't come down if they move it to Mexico. The over time thing. Most every place I have ever worked you work 40 hours then after that over time kicks in. Not 8 hours then you get overtime.

When we say stop buying Nabisco we should say that to large grocery chains because they buy the products in bulk to sell to us. So if we don't buy we hurt the grocery stores. They have already bought the cookies from Nabisco and hoping we buy from them. So what would help is if Kroger and Publix suspend orders until they treat these employees fair. Remember, we don't buy directly from them.

Prior to 1981 I could eat Nibisco products all the time, but now I can't because of an allergic reaction I get eating most of their products.
