I used to work at Michaels. If they’re not sure they’re supposed to call corporate. Even if corporate says no they have to be professional. I feel you were totally in the right? My manager wasn’t sure about the coupon so she tried it and it worked. She was fine with it. I’m sorry they were ugly.

I would call Corporate they need to hear this, so they can train these people to speak to there Costumers.
That is horrible customer service. I would definitely call corporate. My question is why do they act like you are personally taking from them they don’t get anything from selling stuff. They get paid hourly rate no matter what coupons are used. Michael’s is a pain with their coupons and they are overpriced. You get to a point that you’re like no I’m gonna use my coupons and you are going to do it. So ridiculous. But cute haul.
But please tell me about the $10 off $10 Joann coupon! I did not get one – where did you get yours? My flyer only has $5 off $30 and $10 off $50. Do you have to have a smartphone to get this coupon?
It was interesting and disturbing to hear of your terrible customer "service" at michael's but it is good for you to share with us customers. I did take my 80% coupon to michaels because I did not want to drive far to joann's and shockingly, I was able to get the coupon honored. I had low expectations…. She had to manually take 80% off each sticker – I have no idea why they can't take 80% off total (I only had stickers). But please tell me about the $10 off $10 Joann coupon! I did not get one – where did you get yours? My flyer only has $5 off $30 and $10 off $50.
