D.O.R.K Zerrato says:

Are you allowed to gift the vouchers to another person?

Lucian Jadue says:

Vouchers cost $100. If you get two Nintendo games, you spend $120. BUT, If you get a voucher and two games, The two games discount to $50 and if you add the voucher, you spend $200. This is called an $80 scam. If they keep this up, they will lose the console wars.

Rafael Blackman says:

For some reason, these don’t seem worth it to me. I don’t know why.

Home grown Gamer says:

This is… so dumb.
So for the chance as well that they just won't have a game I want, i think I'll just not take the risk, thank you much.
"Here give us 100 dollars and you might be able to buy 2 games for 20 dollars less!"
Cause they can't just put any of their games on sale

RedBlack says:

Soooo…… Your paying 90 for a 40 dollar discount¿

DumplingDoodle says:

protip! you can preorder botw 2 with one of these, saving 30 bucks instead of 20.

Ennis W says:

I checked on Amazon and found Splatoon 3 is 40% off now.

Aaron says:

Follow Jesus Christ he died of your sins

Gnarfledarf says:

This is garbage.

autoprime says:

I swear you can find these games on amazon for cheaper.

i have no idea how to call myself says:

How about you stop adding those semi-useful features and HAVE SOME ACTUAL SERVERS FOR ONLINE PLAY 💀💀💀

תומר יצחק says:

If I purchased the game using the voucher and in a week later my membership ends can I still play the game?

AJ G says:

It’s not worth it just wait until they’re on sale at your local GameStop or Black Friday

Stephen Brinkley says:

Can you purchase one set of vouchers. And use one voucher on one console and the other voucher on another console that is using the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass within a family group?

shadow_the_hobbyist says:

Other than Zelda, what's the best pair of voucher games? Splatoon? Bayo?

Suhadisgood says:

I can buy Zelda breath of the wild now for $40 so buying that for $40 saves me $20 then I’ll wait until another $60 game drops to $40 I’ll pay $80 don’t need this voucher to pay $99 pay more digital sucks

Natural86 says:

I’ll never buy them again because they expire and I felt forced to buy something

Ribcut says:

I'm used to Steam and this Nintendo switch e-shop was honestly very jarring.
The irony is this pricing is counterintuitive, and will ultimately make them less money.
I would gladly spend $80 for two $40 games, but instead I bought one for $60 because of the pricing.

Eduardo Basto says:

These vouchers make Nintendo's online membership easily pay for itself, really fast.

Luca Dario Bützberger says:

Those would be a great idea, but in switzerland, they will likely not be used.
You sell most eshop AAA games for the equivalent of 100USD. Meanwhile, the physical games still get sold for 65USD.
If the vouchers are used for AAA games, one would literally save nearly 50 USD by not using them and buying physical, even with the 20 bucks considered.
It is like a get 2 games for 3 deal :/

FxG Spartan says:

It’s amazing it’s even legal for them to charge for an online system that is intentionally designed to work as poorly as possible and actively cause arbitrary cheating in their games, then blame the players for serverside issues and dish out punishments. The law needs to catch up to Nintendo

Nyto 242 says:

😂😂😂🤣🤣 WTF is that

Just Call Me Oscar says:

Look at Nintendo trying to get you to buy digital stuff a few weeks before decommissioning their longstanding eshops.

Noah Henderson says:

They're implementing this for 100$ knowing d@mn well they're going to raise it in a few months when all their games start releasing at 70$

Nintendo the company continues to be just as much of a joke as EA or Ubisoft

Also watch them stop sales again. Nintendo games used to nearly literally NEVER go on sale. And now for the last few years they have, rarely, and usually for 40$ at beat. I bet with vouchers they're going to get rid of those sales. Wouldnt be suprised if nintendo makes the switch 2 have no cartridge so you have to buy all games digitally. Save money from not paying for discs, shipping, and storefront fees.
