What has been your experience with Costco?

Mark Feliciano says:

Iโ€™ve used WHCC for years, but donโ€™t most labs charge an additional fee for color correcting services?

ZannaTheGreat says:

I would love for you to redo this test ๐Ÿ™‚ I'd love an update

Jonathan Beth says:

Why The colors in ROES are off from Lightroom in WHCC and Bay?

Rebecca Mitchell says:

Do you know ofย any apps thatย allow you to create custom collage posters? I've downloaded photo box and simple prints but cannot seems to create a custom collage. The only app I've found so far is this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.print.mateย any recommendations?

Michele says:

Thanks Tony and Chelsea! I found this video very informative and useful to make an informed choice about my printing service.

Nicholas Smith says:

I disagree with your 1 hr processing. You are not remotely right about 1 hr printing. I have always had awesome quality. Don't mislead people to thinking 1 hour photo isn't good.

Jackie Dines says:

If your monitor is not calibrated, it will make no difference how your photos are printed, at home or at a shop. At those prices chances are that there will not be too much human input. Plenty of people print their own photos, but just like actually taking the photos in the first place, you have to know what you are doing. If you are a pro photographer, and you are prepared to learn how to manage your own printing and buy a decent printer you can get much better point that you will ever get at those prices, and make money out of your prints.

Zaid Alamiri says:

Very helpful video
Thanks guys you are the best

Ron Inabinett says:

Did you guys proof the images with the color calibration requirements of each lab? It sounds like you guys just sent it out based on whatever calibration you were using, which will lead to color shifts that you gave poor marks to. It's important to know what they calibrate their screens to in order to get back prints free of color issues.

Janine Grieve says:

Thanks for the good info. You can also try using this printing services in Canada website formcor.com for better results.

Jelly Fish says:

I strongly recommend ProDPI as your professional printer. I have been using them for several years now and hace never had a problem. Amazing costumer service and top quality prints.

Toadally Awesome Photography says:

what size prints are those?

Vitaliy Gyrya says:

Love Aspen Photo. Very high quality prints.

Street Gato says:

them Fracture glass prints are great, very nice quality. but I fucking hate their advert with that smug techie-hipster-looking dude taking random pics with his mobile phone lol!

Mike Koenig says:

Thanks so much i really needed this research. Keep it up guys.

Quodaax says:

Who makes the best prints? Answer: Your local photo lab. In the Bay area I recommend PhotoLab in Berkeley or Photoworks SF. Although both have online capabilities, you really need to go down, check out their papers, and get to know the technicians.

Domenico Dentice says:

Tony and Chelsea what printer should I go for?? I am planning to get one for home but I do not have the big budget!!! what should I look out for??? I know you say it is better to get them outsourced but I really love the idea to produce them at home!! many thanks!!!!

Greg Hansen says:

Have you noticed any problems with color range by using 8bit jpeg vs 16bit tiff?

Gabriel Gonzalez says:

This is a helpful video. Which websiteย is the best for ย buying frames?

Jan-Peter Mohwinkel says:

One of the best professional printing agency is WhiteWall. It is a German based company but trust me there is nothing better. They offer now UltraHD print on Acryl. It is, in general, a great idea to put the prints behind Acryl more expensive but a great picture deserves that.

Matt Rogers says:

I am working to build a photography studio and looking at print services like this. Someone I know says "Just use Costco" but they don't exactly see the details like I or my clients would and they have this this "it's good enough" mentality that drives me a little crazy because I am a perfectionist. Can you please think about doing one with Costco and what limitations a professional photographer may have when trying to use a service like this?

ZVKVHS says:

More videos on home printing and Lightroom to printing would be greatly appreciated.

Jack Melnikoff says:

I agree with Gerry Marchese. I've used Adoramapix for several years and have gotten great results. As stated, do not let them adjust your images. You need to have a color adjusted monitor and use their printer profile based on the paper you select. The photo books I've done are absolutely stunning! And on an occasional instance when something was not right, their customer service has been great. They will gladly reprint the job to your satisfaction.

Naildesigns says:

Is there any website that prints planners? For good quality and also for cheap?

Scott says:

Gave grandma a Photo from staples. She loved it. I had Mpix print the same photo in 8×10 w metallic paper (which is kinda neat). She like the Staples photo better. I was shocked. Its not even close. The Mpix is superior in comparison. I didn't export from LR for an 8×10 and I think I did lose a bit of color. Ir staples over saturated. Mpix was really easy to use, from my phone. Thanks again. First photo printed, framed, and nearly rejected by my 88yr old grandma. So now im more tuff too.

lenia markou says:

He looks like Gary Lineker!!!

Harun Aksu says:

How about Costco photo centre?
They are the only available service in my area locally. I don't have to worry about shipping costs and wait time.
