But you can get a gift card to cover the overage, say you have $2 overage before you give your coupons over ask for a $2 cvs gift card. =) Hope this helps!
heard it's the same 2.99.
When you go into Cvs they won't give you cash back. So you need to pick up something else that will take up the overage. Because you need to owe them something even if it's some change. I had overage with the tresseme using the red box coupon and the manufacturer coupon. So I used the overage to help pay on some other items. I ended up paying 38 cents for all my items.

I know after I did the video the coupon does say " Limit one coupon per customer". Most likely you can only use one coupon per transaction and if you have overage they will not give you cash back!!
