Safeway has a better and more attractive produce section. Fresher than Fred Meyer (Kroger) family too.

Wanted to mention that I think you can get your insert coupons on Saturday at Myer's. Also I follow the Ohio Valley Couponer. He knows Kroger & Kroger affiliates stuff. Not sure if you can use Kroger Cash Back at Myer's. If you can the savings will stack with Ibotta rebates for double savings. It makes for awesome deals.

Safeway gives overage but cannot cash that out. Like DG you must use that overage on other items. Also, don't forget to use the double coupons they offer. You can save an additional $2.00 per transaction.
I get my greatest savings, on groceries, at Safeway. On their app, you will often find a $10 off $50 purchase. Also, if you pay attention to their gift card offers, you can pick up $100 Visa or MasterCard gift cards for $90.00. That's $10 in free money 💰🙂

I've never heard of Safeway but it looks exactly like a Shaws??
I had ecoupons that didn't work at publix. I think it's because I just clicked on them the same day. The other ones worked that I clicked on the week before. So I think you have to wait til the next day to use them.
They have one of their sister stores here in Texas which is Albertsons and I always get very great deals there!!

I dont know if they have Safeway or their sister store vons back east but every year they have a monopoly game where you buy qualifying products and with your receipts you get game pieces you can earn prices along with free groceries and grocery coupons
