A shopper finally redeemed a 36-year-old coupon at a supermarket on Long Island.

North Shore Farms store manager Anatoly Shashkin tweeted a photo of the coupon on Tuesday night and it soon went viral.

2000s Suck says:

No this "isn't a first". There are people out there that have no expiration coupons from decades ago and take them out and use them provided the product is still being sold. Some manufacturers from decades ago printed out no expiration coupons. Not that much these days. There was a no expiration coupon I had from the 1970s for a feminine hygiene product that I used in the early 2000s at an Eckerds. I remember the cashier was trying to scan the coupon but realized there was no barcode on that coupon printed from the 1970s and manually gave me the discount.
