I was at dollar General yesterday and the cashier told a lady ahead of me that none of those coupons have been working for anyone. She said she didn't know why. But her manager told them none of those coupons are any good
one issue with those 2 dollar coupons is that you can't use them with any other Dg discount I had a problem with one I had I used it by itself and it worked fine DG system is so foul there are always problems you just got to watch your transactions like a hawk

I posted this on another Channel they are supposed to ask you at the register if you want to donate to that Literacy fund. they have an awful bad habit of charging it and not telling you. as far as I'm concerned that is theft. As couponers we struggle to get those coupons and deals. That has happened to me three times in a month, twice at Dollar General once at Goodwill I made them fix it each time keep your eyes open with your receipts anywhere you shop I don't mind donating which I do but I donate two things that I choose to donate to nothing makes me madder when I use a dollar coupon and they charged me $0.93 for a donation without telling me I mean really think about that sorry for the rant but I just had to say it

Babe, it happened on both mines also. I had a $2 from buying Bic Flex & $5 Gain deal, and they wouldn't work, said like already used but wasn't. I will try tom, if still no i will than call corporate. I hope yours worked today! I was at my daughter's lacrosse games all day so no DG 4 me today! Lol. ππ
I wanted to go to DG and get some Gain but I get a headache just thinking about it. Something always goes wrong with my transactions there. LOL.

THAT LITERACY DONATION COUNTED AS YOUR 6TH ITEM, I WOULD TAKE IT RIGHT BACK, AND DO MY GAIN DEAL OVER, AND THEY HAVE TO OPEN THAT DRAWER AND GIVE YOU YOUR COUPONS BACK TO RE DO YOUR DEAL. AND EVERYONE HAS BEEN SAYING THAT IT HAS BEEN SAYING THAT THEIR COUPON HAS ALREADY BEEN USED. IT'S AN ERROR WITH DG….
I only see 5 items
I had 3 of the $2 coupons from the razor deals (for my account, my husbands & momβs). I was able to use 2 of the coupons, but the last one I tried to use said it had already been used. I asked how can it have been used already when I just tore it off the receipt & am just now using it?
All the couponers on here are saying that about the $2.00 & $5.00 extra coupons on your receipt.

There is something wrong with the system. Happened on both $2 and $5. Have to call corporate.
Hi there is an issue with all of those $2 coupons. They are all saying they have been used. No one stole it. Call and let them know. Also the reason why you didnβt get the other 3 dollars off is because the cashier only scanned one of your fabric softeners so technically you only purchased 5 gain items that the computer recognized but you need 3 to get the $ 3 instant savings. The literacy donation is your 6th item transaction.
Same thing happened to me yesterday, thought it was just me, a new DG in my area and I'm always having problems wit them. I've been to them 3 times since they open last week and spent over $40 each time. First day open I was there got a 10 gift card. Cashier told me to put my dg card n afterwards it was to late. So I missed using my dg coupons, called the manager he said nothing he could do, won't be going back anytime soon!!!

Wow. I didn't get mine 5.01 after I got the gain deal and the paper coupon I got from the internet. All the Dg store here where I live at ppl abused the system so now I cant used these coupons unless it digital or paper from newspapers. Sorry to hear that
I have heard numerous people say that coupon says the same thing. Think it has to be manually entered. You also got 1 gain free since she only rang up 5 items. So it looks like a win

All mine said that 2 and the $5 one
They told me the same thing about my 2$ ticket and i hadnt even left the store. They had to override the system somehow. The cashier said it had been doing that.. There is something wrong with the system.
She told me the same thing l ast night I just brought the razor last night and turned around try to buy something a few minutes later and said it was used so she just took 2 00 dollars off but I kept the receipt
