That is crazy!! Yes, I totally agree. These extreme couponers who have no regard for coupon policies make me sick. Cashiers have a bad preconception with couponers because of crazy idiots and we all have to suffer.
That cashier was still wrong. You don’t make up the rules and you didn’t do anything illegally. She should have called a manager before that situation got hostile with the other lady. I tell them all the time I will not argue with you I’ll let a mgr handle it.

I live in NC so far no one has been mean with me or upset. In fact the ladies at CVS know me well now and we talk. It always disappoints me when people post good deal and then I see the breakdown and it is full of glitter.
This is exactly how it is in NC. It's so difficult to coupon here just because of people like this. I've seen this first hand where i live. The policies are so strict now because people want to abuse the coupons so it affects everyone.

you did the right thing it filter down to next . pick your battles some of the casiher they dont know their own policy and some dont read the wording right and like you said push through some more but when people try to do what that lady did not cool . i just been couponing a little while and and a lady told me at walmart that i could not use a colgate one per purchase i said its per pur i had two she said one per day i said no up to 4 like coup no the drill , i said take one off paid for my order went to self checkout use my rubberrmaid coupons colgate two of them each nutrgena coupons two paid 3.30 cents boom out the door . im learning but its just a toss up here in ohio and some that i like is the ones who coupon themsevles

What had just happened however that cashier shouldn't have said anything to you other then greet you & give u ur total…bc you had nothing to do with that other trifling couponer b4 u…u are so right she knew she was wrong she should've just took her L and walked away.
