The up and up markers and color pencils are the same I used them in my classroom all year long and they lasted with 25 students using them for a while school year. Get the cheaper ones it doesn’t matter the brand!!!

i truly don't want to sound like a "hater" but i really need to tell you this, but a lot of the prices you are talking about are the regular prices. Just bc they put them up front doesn't mean they are on sale. those index cards for example are that price or very close to it at wal-mart every day. As a bargain shopper you should know that just bc something has a big sign with big bold numbers on it doesn't mean it's really on sale. it's meant to draw you in. they mix it in with sale items to bamboozle shoppers into believing they are getting it on sale as well.bargain shopper, you fell for one of the oldest marketing tricks in the business. smh, you are cute but i'm unsubscribing. can't fathom why or how you could fall for such a obvious marketing trap. even the colors are are chosen to draw you in.any other bin is not a bright color like that. But school supplies are a bright yellow. It is specifically this shade to make us reminiscent of our school days & of school buses. And all the fun we had on them. Happy customers spend more $$. people also shop right to left. that's why the name brand items are on the right then come the store brand. You've got a great start as far as "couponing" goes.. But you really need to research on how stores especially the major retailers like Target use marketing techniques. with that kind of knowledge & your couponing knowledge you would be unstoppable!

I get excited for back to school stuff, i bought a little supplies for my daughter, but i wait until her teacher gave them note what they need in class. Before i buy alot some of them they don’t use it.

Walmart is WAY cheaper for back to school. You can from school supplys to undies for your kids. Walmart is the place to go for basically everything.
Sure do wish Target had been able to make a go of it in Canada. Not much in the budget retail landscape besides Walmart anymore.

The school supply for my son says only crayola brand markers, crayon and color pencils and for pencils they have to be the Ticonderoga brand which are all the most expensive kind 😔
