Need to focus on high calories high vitamin canned foods.

@amusingmyslf says:

I've added dried fruit powder (Elderberry strengthens immunity), dried tomato powder, dried cheese, butter, nutritional yeast, powdered drink mix to use with powdered milk, to my provisions recently.
A couple years ago I dehydrated frozen corn, peas, carrots, kale, fresh zucchini, yellow squash, and then put them in canning jars and used a vacuum sealer.
Plus #10 cans of dehydrated chicken, beef, pork, whole eggs, milk.
And I limed several quart jars of my chickens eggs.
I have a large binder to keep track of everything and I try to check off as I use stuff.

Potatoes are so easy to grow, in any climate… A few cans is fine but ultimately potatoes grow with no effort

Alaska Granny turned me on to Nido Fortificada canned powdered whole milk. It keeps several years after the best by date.

@richellmcknight446 says:

I just came across some powdered peanut butter that's dated 2019- what's your experience if any, with how far past the best buy date it's still good?

@richellmcknight446 says:

I was laughing as you started showing all the meat products, they're all in my pantry tooπŸ˜‚β€ Except the tuna, I have canned salmon instead 😁 I've also got all the chili , veggies, soup, and even the canned potatoes, even though I eat keto, too❀ FYI, the best way to cook the canned potatoes is leave them whole, heat up some oil, and toss them in the skillet to brown really good all over, keep rolling them around. Then salt and some parsley flakes, or whatever you like❀ I've also got some non keto foods, like Hormel pot roast and chicken and dumplings, and the Campbell's chunky soups- I figure that's a whole meal in a can, and if things are bad enough that I have to eat non fresh food, I'm not gonna care about the carbsπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚β€ Or I may need them to run!πŸ˜‚β€β€β€

Yes I had to throw out several cans of canned milk
