Get to the subject of the title!
I go to vegas in april if i sign up today will i get my book in time? And do you know if these can be combined with other offers like el cortez boarding pass offers?
Get Pabst, Stella or Heineken. Woo hoo! What about Bluff, who gambles at El Cortez. He’s so fun and nice to everyone. His channel has grown so fast and Adam at El Cortez really likes him. 👍👍🍀
Anything in Laughlin? If not, you might want to look into it. I will wager you would sell a lot more books to us OLD FOLKS that are generally frugal BUT have plenty of money to spend/ Thanks fellas!
I'd like to see Steve Cyr and Rich Wilks as guests on the SAME show.
I hate to say this because he seems like a nice guy but outside of Beer Friday the show would be better without Andrew. He seems to be more of a comic and musician than having much knowledge on gambling. Often times, including with guests he interrupts them blurting out a bunch of nonsense that is incorrect. I may be in the minority but he typically adds little to nothing to the average segment. Just my opinion.
Cant wait for my annual coupon run
Y’all need to get Mobile.
Looking forward to seeing Frank B on this upcoming week! Also, love the beer Friday's and the ability ask questions in the chat – keep up the great work guys! (Side note: When will "The Advantage Players" hit the shelves..?)
You probably need an app too.
After taken your recommendation I read Comp City and as some one who lives in the UK . Could you please spend some time doing a Comps for Dummies type show . Where and what is the best play, best casino group etc . Thank you for giving absolutely vital information for my visits across the pond . David
CAN YOU ADDRESS HOW MUCH ROOM RATES HAVE GONE UP SINCE THERE ARE NOW LESS ROOMS AVAILABLE SINCE MIRAGE AND TROP ARE GONE? I'VE BEEN LOOKING AT RATES AND THEY SEEM MUCH HIGHER THAN NORMAL. IS THAT TRUE?
I'll miss the weekly show. But I get that you need to try something different.
Also what is Deke's drink of choice??
Get a guest from IGT on. Be interesting!
The coupon book just isn't what it used to be. The Ellis Island drink coupon used to be four drinks for two, no strings. Now it's three drinks and you have to buy an appetizer. No Gold Coast, no Orleans, no Bighorn, no Longhorn, etc. Sad.
How does the comp parking work at the Sand Dollar?
wordy…just say it😅
Can you guys maybe adjust the lighting? Huge improvement on the new set, but you guys look pale/washed out…like the lights too bright.
For me, the new format will mean watching about 50% fewer shows. I have watched every show, even though those shows typically contained some segments that didn't interest me, in order to see the segments I was interested in. But with the new format, if a show is only about sports betting or analyzing video poker games, I'll skip the show entirely.
I have my Members Rewards Coupon Book! I was almost going to use it this weekend but plans fell through. I will use it soon!
How about more graphics on the show? Example, like a list of topics you'll be covering or show a screenshot of the topic you are covering while you're speaking.
Thanks for the info. I'm looking forward to the new format. I received my coupon book in the mail. I'm going to start in March and return in August to extract as much value out of it as I can!
Are the coupons in the book "transferable"? In other words, if I buy a coupon book, may I give a coupon to a friend of mine to use? Thank you.
Looking forward to the changes. Variety is the spice of life. Thanks for the coupon new review.
I love the show. I will say it’s def for an older crowd. I still love it. I hope your Channel grows!
Watching Anthony play video poker live on location every once and awhile would be priceless I think.
Thank you for all the work you put into this. I always look forward to your shows!
I just got my rewards book. Can't wait to use it!
@Las Vegas Advisor Your channel has great content, but it has been having a slow growth. I spent quite some time analyzing its trends and recognized the key reasons for your channel's slow growth. I have also come up with constructive solutions to resolve them. My comment may have some criticism (some might even upset you) but you deserve to hear the truth, and I want you to succeed because I care. Here is a list of things you need to do in order to succeed:
1) Your channel needs exposure. A lot of people don't know that your channel exists and you need to fix that problem. YouTube algorithm is not recommending your channel because it does not have a lot of associations with other popular Vegas channels such as Jacob, Ruby & Matt. Best way to fix that would be to do collaborations. Yes they do have a different type of content but your channel completes them, and they complete yours. Plus, they introduce your channel to their audience while you bring them extra value through your knowledge and coupon book.
2) A lot of people watching your channel hear about your gameplays, history of games, etc. but many, myself included, don't even know how to play some of those games! Not knowing the subject of the conversation really detracts from the viewing experience. Now you might think: They can google the game, and you'd be right. However you'd be missing out on a great source of content! You can actually have a tutorial video once a month where you teach how to play a popular game (Keno, Blackjack, 5 card poker, Texas, etc.).
3) You guys & your guests are very knowledgeable & have long & lengthy videos where you talk about history, memories, trends, etc. Those are great for podcasts but not for YouTube. In fact, YouTube is gravitating more and more towards shorter videos. New generation doesn't have a whole lot of patience, and finds long podcast-type videos boring. You can certainly create a separate podcast playlist where you bring guests and such, but those CANNOT replace your regular content! Consider podcast-type content as your side dish, not your main dish.
4) Your channel is TOO static. Every episode is taken in same repetitive settings. If you pick 2 random videos you have watched, remove the YouTube date stamp from your videos, skip the date segment in the beginning of your video & pick a random moment, even you, yourself, might have difficulty figuring out which video it is. Same applies to audience: you don't want them to rely on guessing about whether or not they have seen an older video of you. You can change background scenery between videos, add episode specific items, wear very different outfits for occasions, etc.
5) A lot of Youtubers create videos that can be watched a few weeks or months later. As a result, their older videos generate more views as time goes on and don't simply become irrelevant. News-type do great in short term but fall off very quickly. I know that you have preference towards the latter in order to provide the latest and greatest, but you can also create timeless content that can be watched weeks or months later by newly acquired subscribers. Best example to follow would be Miles to Memories, which shares a lot of similarities with your channel, and you two could even collaborate.
6) You need to step up your thumbnail game. Yes! Believe it or not, thumbnails do the heavy lifting for most videos! They don't know if they have seen an older video of you guys you may mix 2 videos Look at Abroad In Japan for inspiration, who himself hates the gimmicky aspect of thumbnails but recognizes its value. Abroad in Japan was a channel that started less than 10 years ago, and last year he was invited to Buckingham Palace where they met the British loyal family & the Japanese Empire. Why that channel? Because he is a great example of a hardworking person who strives for perfection, and has been successful due to his work and not by sheer luck.
7) You need to remind people in the beginning and end of the videos to subscribe to your channel. I know its not a fun thing to do that, but it actually helps. You can even use Youtuber performance metrics to show the percentage of subscriber vs non subscriber viewers to convince people to click on that button.
8) Avoid overly risky activities, such as doing live version of cash prizes & any luck-based game that dictate winnings for some of your viewers. YouTube really hates that, and you don't want their algorithm to work against you.
9) You REALLY need to work on some of your video titles! It feels like two different people are writing those: One who writes exciting tabloid-news-type headlines, and another who prefers a calm & informative one. For example, one of your videos is called "RICHARD MUNCHKIN – LAS VEGAS ADVISOR INTERVIEW." Firstly, most people don't even know who he is (and you need a lot more viewers than the few people who do) so the title may have been "RANDOM PERSON – LAS VEGAS ADVISOR INTERVIEW" to most people. Secondly, you don't need to put your own channel name in the first few words of the title. Remember: people don't know about your channel. You want to attract them to your channel. To someone who doesn't know your guys, it reads out as "RANDOM PERSON – RANDOM YOUTUBERS". Instead write a subject such as "Pro player exposes Vegas Secrets to Las Vegas Advisor". Now add a good thumbnail that shows his name somewhere alongside with other exciting things that can attract a viewer, and now you are off to a great start!
10) You guys need to have a strong presence in social media, with all accounts linking people to other ones (i.e. Instagram telling people to check your YouTube, YouTube telling people to check Facebook ,etc.)
11) You need better lighting or light settings on your camera. An improved color balance will bring more life & energy to your videos.
12) Step up your outfits! I'm not asking you to wear tuxedos (although a tuxedo episode would be cool) but asking to do better. Its about the first impression, and as presenters, you'd like to be presentable: Wear more colors & avoid bland colors, wear tighter fits, avoid washed out designs, comb your hair, etc.
