shoebuy is a pile of shit company. I purchased $300 Danner boots from them for my work and they sent me the boots without insoles. Wtf?! I called and they said send them back, I said no, just send the insoles and the would not. Fuck them! I bought insoles at Walmart.
Shoebuy also lied on Amazon about shipping times… Changing it from next day to one week AFTER I purchased the shoes. Then they refused to cancel, even though the shoes had not left their warehouse. THEN had the nerve to charge a restocking fee. Zappos once let me KEEP a pair of shoes with a loose strap and sent me a second, new pair. I'll never stray from Zappos again! They are amazing!
A recent purchase from them was a terrible experience. I needed to exchange for a half size smaller, and it was SO many emails and phone calls and additional purchases to make this happen that it was a ridiculous waste of time. Plus then they messed up and charged me a restocking fee they weren't supposed to (as I purchased the exchange shoes – I had to do this just because I paid them with PayPal – crazy ridiculous system).
I would never ever recommend them, even if you save a bit of money. This is basic service to expect if you sell shoes (process an exchange if they don't fit) – I had to jump through so many hoops, and then deal with a really lackluster customer service team who did the bare minimum to make it right. Terrible.
I have been a loyal Shoebuy customer until today. Β They refused to honor a return because they claimed that I did not send them back in the same box. Β Basically they value a box more than customer service. Β I'm switching to Zappo.
shoe buy is taking stupid long to process my order. I wonder if theyre drop shipping or if these items are even in stock. Mabye drop shipping would be faster compared to their crap.Β

You need to relax…seriously. Between pit crews for gasing up the car because mins can't be taken out of your life and wanting flash delivery. Slow your roll or life is gonna catch up to you. Type A by chance?
I have a pretty unique system of buying shoes I guess.
I usually go to one of those buildings that has a bunch of shoes for sale. I forget what they're called. Shoe shores? Shoes toars? Something like that. I try the shoes on until I find one I like and then I buy them and wear them the exact same day.
It's really crazy and unbelievable I know but try it out, it totally works.
(Yeah, that was a dick post but I used to work at a mom n' pop shoe store so buying them online seems silly to me)
@aquenita27 This pretty much. Pretty sure these things were close to $80 at the time, and have been more comfortable for me than any pair of shoes I've ever worn.
@Akeche I'm a woman, and even I don't understand why folks need more than, perhaps, 3 pairs of shoes at a time or to replace them every few months. To each his own, I suppose.
@Livinglifehigh Good quality boots, though they take a bit to break in, can actually last awhile. My husband has had the same military grade boots for 6yrs. They still look lovely and are comfortable for him (yes, he is in the military and wears them every day, as well as shines them, etc). Sometimes paying a bit more is worth the cost in the long run. Take care of good quality items, and they will last.

i would just say that zappos is faster just cuz theyy have a larger amount of users who buy from them compared to shoebuys. shoebuys prolly doesnt have as many workers who can go through all the online orders and u knoww they got to make sure they dont send out the wrong shoe and stuff like that. they also dont pay extra to shipping companies cuz they're prolly small timers compareed to zappos. my 2cents
@nhonho23 Yeah I gotta admit getting shoes in any kind of frequency confuses me. I've been wearing the same boots for 3-4 years.
