You really have to get to know your neighborhood Kroger. Some stores will not honor a coupon on a Woohoo item if the register wonβt accept it.. some stores will honor it. Perishable departments (Deli, bakery, produce, floral, meat, seafood and dairy) markdown items everyday no matter what store. Grocery, drug/gm departments depend on the store, some markdown everyday (like our neighborhood Marketplace.) some only markdown once a week.. if you get to know that schedule it can help you save too. Another good tip, but again something youβll have to figure out at your neighborhood Kroger because each one is different.. is to look for ISS (in-store special) items… a lot of times it will say ISS on the tag.. or sometimes manager special… those are items that they have too much of and will change the price at a store level instead of using a woohoo label.
And one thing i donβt recall them mentioning is the Catalina coupons.. those print out at the register during checkout. Also Kroger does deals, usually with baby items, pet items and makeup items.. spent a certain amount and save this amount on your next visit.. or spent this amount and save this amount at checkout. Example.. spent 30$ in pet food items and save 5$ instantly. These items will be marked with special tags to indicate which are participating items.
Some good ways to rack up some fuel points… gift card events… Kroger has 4x fuel points on gift cards every so often.. also the surveys at the bottom of your receipt.. do the survey (you can do it on the Kroger app, super easy, doesnβt take long) and you get 50 fuel points! You can do one every seven days so thatβs 200 fuel points you can earn in a month.. aka thatβs 20 cents off gas……. just by doing surveys.

You canβt double coupons tho. Thatβs actually against Kroger policy. Iβm unsure if your Kroger allows that, but they shouldnβt.

I shop at Kroger all the time. I do the mega deals. I love seeing my total drop at least $10 and gain lots of fuel points too! I have actually saved $1 on gas!

I don't know if they still do this but a couple of times I was in self check out lane and I would catch a product incorrect price and if it was they gave it to me for free
I don't like using my phone number at register. One lady used my phone number to get my ECB.
