This is misleading I thought it was scan and go by pass check out kiosk I still have to do everything I would normally do just scan items in a different way but still end up at the checkout 🤦♀️😂😂
sams is way better because you dont need to go to self checkout just pay in the app and go, with this system in my local walmart still have to do the self checkout line( normally big 10-20) min line, don't worth to pay membership for me.
I had this at sams club and it was inconvenient. I'd have to constantly go back and fourth with the app. I'd rather check out a the register like a normal person.
One of my local stores doesn’t allow scan and go. The last time I had paid and scanned items, since they have no self checkout registers to scan the we code on, I ended up temporarily having paid twice bc cashier on the register they sent me to try to checkout on was told my manager it I didn’t have the transfer items to a register button showing they’d have to ring up the entire order again. Also, I always have to scan my QR code at a self checkout register. Then the system or register calls the employee who is never quick to work bc they are socializing and ignoring the handheld device they’re supposed to be paying attention to. Then they come and scan items to check and acoustic theft. I just left Walmart bought one pack is covid tests on scan and go. No line walked up ti register immediately scanned the qr then stood there and waiting on the employee to finish her personal conversation whit a customer for five minutes. She then has to login to the register and check my one item she can clearly see in my hand and scan it and do something to allow my app to complete purchase so that can leave. Inconvenient bc if I’d paid for it normally the employee would’ve have been necessary

It is bad enough i find myself being a bolunteer cashier. But I wont pay them for the privlage. I dont even know what you call a slave that has to pay for the privlage to work.

He people could check out like any other store there wouldn’t be as much theft. People are now going to steal more because for one they ain’t paying monthly for self checkout and two they are not about to wait behind 30 people just to be help at 1 of 20 lanes because it’s the only one open!!!!!

I wish this worked like Sam’s club. You just pay in app and show receipt at door. No need go to a line at all.
