We bought a bidet, thanks to your suggestion during your home tour! Excited to install it; I don't know why we had never thought to do that to save TP>
Taking notes here! Are you just sealing and not vacuuming the potatoes?
❤❤❤❤
PS I tried freezing Cream Cheese and it was gloppy and did not spread! Do you freeze it when it’s just going to be an ingredient?!!!
Hugs, Michael Albuquerque NM USA
Geoff why can’t you go to Safeway with an online order freebies and then go inside for the rest that has to be “in store”?!! For packaged items you don’t need to see it first!
Online order often has a $$$ off coupon and it keeps me from impulse shopping!!!
Cheers, Michael Albuquerque NM USA,
I love these sale shopping and food prepping videos you do (you) (boo)! I could almost smell that pork roast.
Over here in the netherlands the potatoes are at an alltime low aswell. I just got a bag of 4kg for 0,49 eurocent (so roughly 8.8 pounds for 0,57 US). I've already made fries and cubed potatoes with them and still not done (not much space in my 3 drawer freezer).
Have an amazing weekend.
I love your tip of making potato chips out of the peels! So you cook the potatoes once for twiced backed potatoes and then cook them the second time after thawing… brilliant. I will try that. Love your channel.
Hi Jeff, yesterday I did my first harvest on my BASIL and PARSLEY. I washed it, put it in the food chopper, then added a good quality EVOO. I drop my teaspoon full onto the baking sheet and freeze. This gives me fresh herbs for my pasta sauce all year round. My tomatoes bushes are two feet tall and loaded with tomatoes. So excited we'll be having great tasting tomatoes pretty soon.
Awesome deals there. The prepping I like to watch, servings, the savings with the prepping, love the videos, and others responses to it.
I'm watching you right now lol have to tell you my friend the deal I got last week here in Ontario Canada we have a store called giant tiger i got 5pd bag of potatoes for .50 cents each I stocked up and did a you cut then vacuum sealer them ❤
Morning Geoff. Was curious, do you have a generator? Wa have two freezers full of food and finally got ourselves one ( didn’t want to lose all that food if we lost power for any length of time.) Hoping you fellas have a lovely day 🦋
Glad to see that I wasn’t the only one up at 2 am! Always a pleasure watching you! I am pressure canning potatoes, onions and peppers today. Your roast looks terrific.
How much were the 5 pounds of potatoes when you purchased them? Per bag price?
How did you cook your potatoes? How did you season and freeze the skins? Thanks much!
What sealer machine and bags do you use? Where did you get these at?
Thank you.
Can you use the frozen shredded cheese on salads or tacos? What do you use the frozen cheddar cheese for?
My Safeway store and Acme does not have the same chicken sale price as yours. They are in Delaware and Pennsylvania.
Any thoughts?
You made the most of those sales 👏 Here in the uk we don‘t have the sales you do. Very jealous! I do like making potato peel crisps/ chips though, love to serve them instead of bread with home made soup.
"DAMMIT! WE'RE WORTH IT!!!"
Love ya my friend, but you have to pay attention to unit prices. The $5.99 cheese is for 2 lbs. The 3 for $ 5.00 is for 8 oz. $1.49 beats $1.67
I do my eggs that way too! Or scrambled and freeze! Thanks Geoff good video
Every week, they offer a free item. Just type FREE on the U deals. Two weeks ago, it was a free 3.5lb tray of boneless chicken breast. This week, the free item is a 1lb tray of ground beef. I check for the free item every week…sometimes it's a good item, and sometimes it's something I don't use. I have a handheld vacuum sealer that has reusable bags in three different sizes. I just have to wash the bags well in between uses. I mark the bags so each one has the same item every time (chicken, beef, pork).
I have learned so much from you, Geoff. Thank you very much.
Quote of the day "I do this because I am worth it".
Glad you are going to freeze the eggs, don't forget the salt or sugar after you whisk them a bit. LOL. I was going to tell you how jealous I am of your grocery prices, but my Aldi still has the nice, large avocados for .49. We have to find our victories where we can.
I just got back from a case lot sale.Had tuna .59 a can, also vegies for .69 for a can.Have learned alot from you
Thank you
