What really gets me is the packaging is the same size, because it costs big money to change dyes yet the volume is less in a non see through plastic container, and we pay more for it. They don't care about the land fill that is ever increasing.

They have machines top automatically weigh out and package. There would have to be more staff for clean up, weighing out etc. Someone has to pay. Not to mention issues over hygiene with tree using containers.

If all the foods and products company just agree to just ship their products in bulk sizes with like a dispenser and distribute it to the public and use reusable containers,living the plastic free life would be easier!

Use handmade baskets from leaves that falls to the ground,use fabric people👊🏻

Only the biggest companies are actually causing all the pollution and plastic, they cause 90% of the damage and the rest of us cause 10% of the damage. Only the biggest industry's need to cut back

Just turn the plastic into clothes and strong weapons. Idk reconstruct it and make it a usable thing. Not just for storage and bottles. Backpacks, shoes, housing, weaponry, like cmon. Too many options

We as a society have become like children spoiled by their manufacturer parents. Literally like brats we need our salad and fruit cut for us for no apparent reason other than laziness. People can easily go without 85% of the plastic in supermarkets without making any major changes.

Seattle gives a 10cent discount per bag you bring and accepts plastic bags back at the front of stores in a bin, I use as much as I can for art projects or to sew a layer onto the top of blankets for the displaced outside people to prevent the wetness

Bulk Barn, you can bring your own container as the lady did! But you can bring your own container to put meat and fish in it1

I never really realized how much plastic I used. I wish chain stores in America would do this and be at a reasonable price
