Hi, Dave! Thank you for sharing. I live in a country where standing out as a food business has become a challenge. Due to the pandemic, everyone is now selling. And well, my family and I are one of those people.

Our set up (like most people here) is an online food store (no physical location, we only deliver their orders via a courier service). We offer great food (heirloom recipes), and we do believe strongly in our product. We also receive great feedback from customers without having to ask, which makes me believe that they genuinely enjoy our food. We have repeat customers as well now.

However, we only started last September, and so we don't have much customers yet. Giving out food samples is also not a very good option right now due to the pandemic. We market through social media, but new customers are hard to come by given everyone is selling online, too.

How do we deal with this? How do we gain more customers given the competition and the kind of setup we are in? We plan to turn this into a resto bar in the future.

Thank you and God bless.
