Christine, since those eggs are on clearance…did you know that on the side of the carton is a number from 001 to 365? That is the day of the year those eggs were collected on farm. Soooo, you'll always know how old what you're buying is!

I found eggs for $2.99 and I was happy, never for 49 cents!
They only have Kroger delivery here in Florida so we dont get the clearance stickers. But I got the cheese deal.
You can use paper coupons on clearance items and pair that with savings apps like Ibotta and fetch rewards
My local store had salmon filets half off the last time I was there. Best believe I stocked up.
I take a minute when I buy eggs and give each one a turn. I've found breaks/cracks on the bottom of the egg causing them to stick in the little cup.

Been doing this since I married 26 years ago, not really hacks but common sense.
If groceries are discounted in my area, they are usually not good buys like yours. It's usually products that should be thrown in the trash bin as they don't look fit for human consumption. You would never, ever see eggs on discount here.

If your blessed to have more than Walmart to shop at, one store, thats it and the only markdowns I find is in the bakery department.

Every time you do these kinds of videos I think I had to put all those signage up and all those tags up I know we don't have any help so my store I pretty much do it all by myself
I have never seen eggs reduced to $0.49 like that!! Omelettes for weeks!
People forget they can freeze so many of those clearance items. I take those eggs & freeze them or cook some casserole w/ them & freeze. Cut up, blanch if needed & freeze veggies reduced or blemished.
