Awesome video, Brittany!

Mary Bartels says:

a little late seeing this….
but are you ok feeding your family food from China & Mexico? if so, then you're golden….if not…..you better start looking at those labels!
the reason you are seeing such huge price differences is because our country is now inundated with foreign food sources.
just a heads up because their packaging processes are NOT monitored like here in the US.

Crazy WoolLady says:

How many people does this $300 a month feed?

mariapoca00 says:

I wonder if the items like paper towels abs toilet paper are included in the monthly food budget. Like the ideas my family household salary is similar so these are good ideas for us.

House of Hemingway says:

I am so with you with buying off brands! Totally! Except ketchup… it tastes different lol

Tracy L says:

This food is not healthy at all. Just my personal opinion but I wouldn't try to save on food, just so that I can buy a new t-shirt. Especially if you have children. Health is most important. You can still buy organic produce and healthy meals on a budget. 3 bags of sugar?, processed food, the cheapest possible, GMO tortillas and cheez it? Just my personal opinion. I'd spend money on organic produce , fresh and non- processed food etc. instead of cutting on that, so that I can by a new t-shirt. With this lifestyle, "saving" on groceries now and buying the cheapest possible food, might cost you much much more in the future. Invest in your health.

Loyda Coulombe says:

I really challenge you to make your own mac and cheese, pasta sauce and tortillas.. way cheaper, healthier and tastes way better and no additives.

Captcha Neon says:

I try my best to avoid going to grocery stores and I spend the majority of my grocery money at Aldi's instead. There's a couple of things I have to buy at Walmart like Taco Bell Chipotle Sauce and Japanese shrimp sauce. By the way I'm fairly new to your channel and I subscribed, I also added your code into the ibotta app.

20 years ago, here in San Diego, I would do twice monthly grocery shopping (at Food 4 Less ), and also did during the week shopping for milk and fresh produce. I cooked from scratch everyday. Being a stay at home can be done, showing others that they have to put in the effort is important. Good shopping haul 🙂 Funny baby boy ! 🙂

The Fruitful Vines says:

I love your vids, girl! It looks like you are making amazing use with what you have in your area. I used to do monthly hauls to Costco/Trader Joe's when I was hugely pregnant b/c I couldn't stand the thought of going weekly! I love that you do monthly trips! ❤🤓🙌

Iheart2cook says:

The $.99 sugar is made from high GMO sugar beets, which are very unhealthy and detrimental to your children. Please do some research on GMO foods. Non GMO and organic foods are more expensive but in the long run are much healthier for you and your children. You can still be on a budget and buy healthy, organic, non GMO foods, it just takes research and planning. You have to decide what's more important to you. My family's health is my priority.
