how do you book a round-trip greyhound ticket online
I saved nearly 50% on a Greyhound bus trip between Charlotte, NC and Bennington, VT in October 2016 by buying 3 separate tickets, one ticket each for the Charlotte, NC – NYC segment, NYC – Albany, NY segment, then the Albany, NY to Bennington, VT segment. Paid about $91 total for the three tickets, would have paid a lot more had the trip been purchased on a single ticket (about $171 on one ticket). Required some research into how long my layovers in NYC Port Authority and the Albany Greyhound bus station would be but it was well worth the effort, money savings and said research to save $80. I understand a lot of people wouldn't want to go through that struggle but I found it to be worth the savings.
if anyone could let me know this would help me so much- when getting the midweek deal for tuesday and Wednesday, do you buy the ticket at the greyhound vendor the day of the trip?? you dont seem to be able to get the discount online when booking for that tuesday or Wednesday, so im wondering if you have to buy it THE DAY OF at the ACTUAL VENDER?
