UPDATE – I've been testing this all morning, the CPU is stable and cool at 3.8GHz on all 6 cores on the stock cooler, it is also very quiet, there really isn't a need to replace the cooler, I'd use it as it comes. Almost equal to the speed of a i7-7700K at stock speeds in both single threaded and multi-threaded workloads, talk about a deal!

Benchmarks coming soon, working on them this afternoon…

Rik Dusk says:

Great deals for sure, that is what Tech Deals is all about and he does a great job showing us the deals! I still have my Cyberpower PC since Feb 2015, still gaming on it, and have had ZERO problems to this day either. I just had to replace 1of the 5 fans, but that is normal wear and tear.

Roy David says:

My only worry with the MasterBox Lite 5 is the lack of space for an optical drive

MassiveRam says:

@Tech Deals when can we get the benchmarks for this pc

Oblivianos says:

is the gtx 1060 really a safe choice in late 2017? wouldn't a gtx 1070 be a better more future resistant(jayztwocents term) for 1080p and 1440p? im talking 60hz monitors/60fps video output

Pedro Costa says:

Hello, how long will this build probably last? Will it be able to play medium 30-60 fps at a 1080p 60Hz in 5 years? Isn't it better to buy a 1070 at that same config (I know it would be considered overkill for a 1080p 60HZ, but it would maintain highest specks for longer too and that would last for 5 years, wouldn't it?). Also, if not, is it worth waiting for the 1070 Ti to come out so it will lower the price of this deal? (or is it not going to come down?)

Brandon Baker says:

I just recently bought the one that had the 7400 and 1060, it was last years model for $829.99 but damn is it decent. Really good system from a good company

kjevers1 says:

I find it perplexing, that they give you physical copies of windows and drivers. So, what are you supposed to install the with?

SpaceOrbison says:

hmm built something better for 985$ with a ryzen 5, 16 gb ram, M.2 drive, 2 tb hd, rx 580, not bad for a prebuilt tho

Tomáš Bouzek says:

I would love to ask about postal price to Europe.

George David says:

the reason people are looking at those computers as inferior (pre-built) is not because they are not "brand name" but because you know deep inside who built it, made it to get a profit also. So you end up with some components, that you like or you could do better, and you pay also the "tax" hidden to put it together. Of course those components are known, but what components are not known? There are just a few brands who make/sell memory, mb, cpu's. I don't say is not a nice computer but I bet everybody with the price asked for that computer I could do better. Not with much, but enough.

Youssef Ahmed says:

Can I do Ali on the motherboard

DJ American says:

Spending over $900 to play video games is stupid when gaming machines optimized for gaming is available from Sony or Microsoft and cost around $300. Buying a gaming console with games is the smarter more intelligent buying decision.
