I am VA-100% disabled. Went to HD to purchase $4K new flooring. Their 2016 policy is 10% up to a MAXIMUM of $50 !! Left, went to Lowes, and got full $400 discount. All vets should boycott HD !!!
Last weekend I bought a lawn tractor at Home Depot using a lowes 10% off coupon. Manager was pissed off about it and tried to get me to take only a 5% discount…I weren't about to go for that. In the end I got all 10% ($169 worth) but what a joke. Second time I've had to argue with them so now I will just go to lowes. SCREW Home Depot!!!!

New Update: We were just at the Home Depot on Orchard Rd. in Aurora, IL. The cashier told us that The Home Depot is no longer honoring their military discount on items that are on sale. They don't want their military, "double dipping". My husband served two tours in Vietnam. He got double dipped in Agent Orange. I'm double dipped in anger right now. Please put this on blast, and I thank you.
All, not only is it up to $50.00 but also seems to only be on select products. I had that this weekend. it is no longer on the total bill, but on select items. The casher said it seems to be mostly on wood. I believe Lowes is still on the total bill.
I am a retired military member. It appears that the Home Depot Military discount program may have changed again. On my last 2 purchases, I was not allowed a discount. The cashier did not know why, but noted that she has seen this issue a lot lately. She applied an override discount to my purchase of $5.00 and listed it as a price match.
