CORRECTIONS:
Amazon charges per coupon use, not per click. So technically somebody could clip a coupon and not use it and you will not be charged.
Also, the "spent" section reflects how much you have redeemed plus the discount you are giving, which can be confusing. Just play around with it and you'll get used to it.
