The ceremony was a show of class and splendor….how I wish it was been done to usher in a duly elected leader in civilian garb.Anyway I wish the Gabonese a prosperous future without hate or violence.
Full of fake people in Gabon
The only that interest me here is that his name is not Bongo.
This was a palace coup.. Nothing changes
Unfortunately gabon new leader no difference then the one before, pump and pageantry proves he wanted to be new kind of king, other side of Ali bongo. Looked at the ceremony saddened anyone's who loves Africa..
France put new puppet they think we don't know😅
ጥሩ ስራ ጋቦን አንተ የቦንጎ ወይም የንጉሜ ወታደር አይደለህም ግን ሪፐብሊክ!
Where is Ondimba? Is he expecting his real friends to intervene?
If funny Gabon coup is accepted by the western media but not Niger coup😮 wonder why
That's great, did they purchase those uniforms from the Michael Jackson auction ?
So much vanity. What are all the fake medals for Sir?
Falling from the frying pan to the fire, aluta continue.
Oligui Nguema… relative of Ali Bongo family. According to sources in France, the government of the Fifth Republic is confused about the situation in Gabon. The fact is that the leader of the coup and part-time head of the Republican guard , Bris Oligui Nguema, is a creature of the United States.
The authorities in the United States had been supporting Nguema for several years, preparing him for the next election, in which he was supposed to win and take the helm after Ali Bongo. And not to say that this support was heavily concealed. For example, three years ago, data about the ownership of three houses in the United States, bought for cash in the state of Maryland, leaked to the online .
But why did a pro-American general overthrow a pro-French president?
The leadership of the French intelligence DGSE explains this by the fact that, according to the Americans, the French authorities are no longer able to effectively protect the interests of the collective West, including the United States, in the territory under their control. Therefore, the White House decided to take the situation into their own hands and seize the initiative from the French.
📌 Despite the fact that Macron's office again criticizes the DGSE for skipping preparations for another coup against President Bongo (who was publicly positioned as a friend of Macron), it is unlikely that the French authorities will escalate relations with the United States over Gabon.
For now, at least, French intelligence has only been assigned to deal with the transfer of Ali Bongo and his family to a prison in Morocco, and their subsequent release after the president is convicted in Gabon.
🔻In the context of such a raider seizure of French assets by the Americans, it is also interesting that French citizens working in Gabon have already begun to evacuate, and some companies have announced the suspension of activities (which was not the case, for example, in Niger – the uranium company Orano continues to work there).
