Since the military coup in Niger, regional bloc ECOWAS has gone as far as to threaten the use of military force and brought in a wave of sanctions on Niamey. FRANCE 24’s Chinwe Ossondu and Moïse Gomis report on the impact of the sanctions on the livelihood of few border dwellers in Nigeria’s Katsina State, where majority of the inhabitants have family and very strong links on the other side of the border. If talks between the West African organisation and the putschists in Niger were to fail, it would be a disaster for the community.

Tracy Case says:

African leaders do not care. Another mass exodus by Africans to the EU is exactly what they are counting on. Nothing gets better. More money from aid packages goes straight to the leaders pockets. In a few years. The people will chase them out of office but there will be millions of dollars missing from the country and sent to the bank accounts of said failed leaders. Cash grab.

Victor says:

These are not sanctions, but weapons against ordinary people. What is the nonsense with these sanctions? It's a punishment. For what? For the fact that the population of countries does not want to obey the globalists.

Black Americans Stand Up to Free Africa from French Domination!!!

Gabon and Niger are just some of the African countries that are still under French Colonial Rule which was supposed to have ended years ago. South Africa freed itself with help from the United States and it is time for all of Africa to be liberated and free. Niger is a rich resource country that includes oil, uranium, gold, and coal. All these resources are being taken by France as the Black people in Africa starve. Finally, the young people are demanding their country back. They are just like us when we demanded civil rights and equality during the sixties. Except we did not have an outside foreign dictator taking over our country and enslaving us like the French are doing Africans in their own countries.

The United States has done nothing to stop this for it has been going on for many years without Black people in America even knowing the horror and injustice that France is putting on Black people. Only now due to Russia speaking out and helping the Black people get back their countries is the American media finally forced to let the American people know the horror that has been going on for years by France. It is time for us to demand an end to France's cruel domination of African people.

Why is it that Biden did not hesitate to help Ukraine? Spending over $120 billion so far and countless weapons. Yet Biden has remained silent when it comes to Black people having their country controlled by Black puppets under France's Neo-Colonialism.

We who are people who originated in Africa, and suffered Slavery in America, must do everything in our power to demand an end to France's modern-day slavery rule over these African countries.
