This is how I get the magnets out – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXTBT9mz2Ok
Where do you find replacement keys!!??? Mine are lost and it’s impossible to find any. It’s a tool cart with a tubular lock
awesome will be doing that to my cart, thanks.
Those latches are shit. AND not in the middle. None of my boxes have ever had them in 42 years. For the last 8 I’ve had those auto return sliders.
Great ideas…how much would you say you had to cut off the top lid portion in order to allow the drawers to open when the lid was closed?
The only part of the topic that correct is the HACK portion!! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
You can also defeat the finger lock by putting a 5/16" nut right next to the area you put your finger to open the lock. It will hold it open and no damage to the lock.
WOW this is a great fucking idea! going to do this to my US general tool chest
I keep mine in a racing trailer, from the Midwest to the east coast I have stuff all over the trailer
So you basically pay 4.99 to keep your drawers closed when you could of not been ignorant and kept the latch
Would those magnetic strips fit in the channels the two black locking pieces in the back?
You remove the locks to add magnets, lol. Great idea but its kinda counterintuitive
