Look for a recipe for funnel cakes for your fried cookie instrument.

Cassie T says:

The jars with the fruit and fruit lids are for jelly. We can find them here in WV from summer to fall during canning season

gwen grayer says:

Toni’s Time says:

Hello, Paloma! I’ve been following your new home journey and have really enjoyed it! I love the way everything is coming together! I wanted to let you know about the cookie cutter with the handle! Back in the day, cookie cutters had handles to make them easier to use! The one you have is obviously a diamond and is part of a set of the 4 card suits – diamond, heart, club and spade! I have the set which was given to me by my grandmother! You can use cookie cutters to cut dough! You can also use them as templates and trace around them! I’ve seen them decorated and used as tree ornaments at Christmas! You are only limited by your imagination! Lol Hope this information helps! Hope it’s cooling off in your part of Texas because the heat is hanging on here in Fort Worth! Take care! Toni

Shante Vega says:

I love your ideas. Tfs 👍🏼

Leann Gouveia says:

Karenlyn Harshe says:

Wow you found some great stuff! Love the jelly jars and the Christmas pot it looks like earthenware that's not a brand but a type of pottery Hull made some really pretty earthenware the best ones have colors dripping down. I have a gorgeous pig piggy bank that my great grandma gave me when I was little

Carol Stanley says:

Reading my comment, only dip the end about 1/2 way up the end piece…not 1/2 way up the handle. 🙂

Carol Stanley says:

The cookie maker that you showed with the crooked handle…..it is supposed to be at an angle like that because of dipping it into the oil.  You dip the end, with the design, half way into a batter.  Then you dip it into hot oil, "frying" the batter.  After just a short while, you take it out of the oil, carefully "peel off" the fried batter, set it upside down on a rack to let the oil drip off.  You then dust the cookies, which will be crisp and yummy, with confectioner's sugar (powdered sugar).  Or else, the one that is in the shape of a triangle, you can put pudding or whipped cream or ice cream just before serving.  My grandmother, from Sweden, had a set like this and she made cookies every Christmas.  She used the powdered sugar method.  They are fun to make, but time consuming.  Have fun using your new "toy".

Alejandra Perez says:

Uuuu I seen someone made muñuelos with those thingies that came in the sugar container. Mayb they are for that or not.
Not sure. But great haul! You always find nice stuff!

Peggy H says:

That was a reindeer cookie cutter. My mom has had the same one since we were kids (back in the day).

Sandy Norlock says:

Thats to make rosettes you use a small electric frying pan with some oil and you have to dip it in the oil until they fry brown.

Lori Flesher says:

I love those bells as well as your channel

K IS FOR KAREN says:

Laurie Sund says:

Its a little crock they use to get them years ago with something cant remember for sure maube the csnned with them esy bsck.

Laurie Sund says:

You dip it in a thin batter n deep fry them

Laurie Sund says:

Its a rosette iron

Kathryn Hodgson says:

My son and I would roast hot dogs and make s’mores in our fireplace when he was little. It made him happy, which made me happy, and tasted good! My sister and I were just discussing my massive cookie cutter collection today. We both agree I could fill a big storage tote with just cookie cutters. We were also planning a weekend trip to your stomping grounds to see what we can find. You have an amazing eye for decorating and even more amazing luck (blessings!) finding deals! Yes, that’s a bar set for mixing drinks. That wood serving dish is divine!!

Cassandra Hesson says:

If you take the lid off of the basket in the end you could flip it over and make it into a lap desk for like your laptop or writing or something. That would be soooooo cool!! Beautiful piece!!

O"HAPPY DAYS says:

Love the bells- have a bunch of different sizes around a door knob and every time I pass I cling it!! Love the sound!

Carol Piakak says:

Rosette iron. Made by dipping the iron into hot oil then dipping the hot iron into a batter, returning the iron with batter to the oil to fry, removing the fried rosette from the iron, sprinkle with powdered sugar…yummalicious!

Cheryldine H says:

My grandma uses a pot, like the one with the bird on it, for storing bacon grease.
